it's weird how Babel/Babylon has all these others definite solid etymologies, but it also clearly means babbling, and that same root is used throughout a ton of other languages, becoming Berber and Barbarian It's also weird how like, Jacob pulled off a deception, but it was to make the thing God declared happen. Rebecca seemed clearly motivated by that, but kind of in the same way as Sarah, trying to make God's plan happen on your own in your own way, by your own power, instead of waiting for him.
