@@AVIT_8350 Yes, I see the European and Asian airline's on the international long hauls are serving food and having glasses, regular forks and spoons. But unless it is the trans con flights, food on regular domestic is slowly coming back.
@@LMays-cu2hp That’s what it looks like. I have recently competed a few international flights. By the looks of it, the US airlines are behind their competitors in terms on onboard service.
I must admit I don't get the point of United's "First Class" branding when it is really much more of a business class product. I'm in Canada so I rarely fly United - but did take a similar United First Class flight between Phoenix and LA just before the pandemic. Sounded like you had food - my flight didn't. Also found it surprising that "First Class" didn't get me in the United lounge. The interesting thing was the discount you got as as student - I don't remember any airlines offering a deal like that when I was younger!
I personally don’t understand why US carriers refer to it a “First Class”. This style is similar across the other US legacy carriers. They don’t offer lounge access unless traveling on an international flight or if you have status. However passes can be purchased online to access the lounge. This flight offered a snack bag at the time, this was recorded in August of 2022. I’m unsure what they’re currently offering. I have recently flown with Air Canada and was blown away by their regional business class. That review will be available in the coming months. I was also surprised that United offers student discounts on flights. I know Singapore Airlines offers student fares as well. Hope you enjoyed the review.
@@AVIT_8350 Yeah - really the Air Canada North American Business Class is much like United “First Class” + food + lounge. But we shouldn't complain too much. Recently I flew Lufthansa's European Business Class which is essentially economy with the center seat blocked off. Without a doubt the result of having to compete with the European ultra low cost carriers like Ryan Air. In the end its all what the market forces the airlines to skimp on to be able to compete for customers.
@@Joe-sg8zp I understand the frustration. Others have provided similar feedback regarding the lack of interior shots. Reviews in Volume 4 feature more interior shots and more details about the onboard experience. However, some reviews may have limited interior shots to avoid disturbing other passengers or crew. Another review featuring United’s E175 first class cabin is available in Volume 4.
I love your videos! Really great production value. I feel like I'm getting in on the ground floor of one of the best trip review channels on TH-cam.
Thank you for your support and glad you enjoy the content! Very happy to hear this. More reviews are coming, including some international flights.
Thank you for sharing your trip.
At least the U.S. airlines are getting back to glasses inflight.
Thank you for watching. It’s nice seeing the airlines return to normal service after these last few years.

Looks like a good deal
It wasn’t a bad price. The ticket was originally for economy round trip, I paid for an upgrade to first class.
It’s doesn’t matter if it’s first class if all you’re showing in the window
What else can I show in these reviews then?
@@AVIT_8350more video of the cabin and seat.
@@grob13isn1 I will do my best to include more interior shots. Thank you for your feedback.
Click bait video. Just watching the wing in flight and no info about the first class cabin. Horrible video
