My brother and I went out in a blizzard to find cows. I think we rode right by them without seeing them. We rode more than an hour before we came back without them and found them at home.

Another great video! What a cold journey that was. Lots of snow in the Sierras. Donner Pass near Lake Tahoe was closed on I80 for about 3 days. Broke records of 193 inches of snow in December. Another storm today too. It was cold for Riley to say something. Such good hard working kids. Fun exploring too. Keep up the great work!!!
Seeing the boys driving everything from young age reminds me of when we first were learning to operate and drive the combine harvestor at 8 yo with dad, both us in cab with dad learning everything then at 9 we operated it both together, brother ran the controls and i drove, we were small enough that we could stand in front of the seat, it worked perfect this way cause i am left handed and bro right handed so easier for him to do the controls. it was hydro static drive so no need for clutch or brakes.

You should be proud of how good mom and dad have raised the kids. Living on that ranch and the stuff that they get to experience on it working with and for the family. Will put them ahead of other kids there age. I really enjoy your little one with the hat and that got the medicine gun so he can keep the calf's healthy. They say that dog is man's best friend, I would argue that pure wool clothing is man's best friend. Awesome to see you all out there kicking ass, cold toes now, make tough men later!! We completed the install of our 55-gallon water tower, which we use for daily use, solar well-pump hooked in to it with a float/tank sensor to keep tank topped off always. Pops and I got it about 25ft up in the air now, on top of our pump shack, all sided, roofed and metal sheeted in - We did it all using a 6ft ladder and our forklift to get us up higher bahahaha, sketch but nobody got hurt. We hooked in an air compressor fitting to our water lines from the pump head, we can blow out all of the lines on your property very easily now to prevent pipes freezing. Major homestead accomplishment. We got my dad's house tied into the county-approved septic that we installed, we hooked up all the drain and septic lines to it, got the foundation poured, 2 layers of cinderblock laid, and everything ready now for cinderblock walls to go up, including a beautiful cement floor poured. Kicking ass, taking names. Got my micro wood fireplace in my tiny home, sitting pretty right now for the cold season. Beats the hell out of living in the city with the weird people and politicians that cities attract!

The ranch 30 miles wide and 30 miles long BLM and US Air Force There is 40 private property at the house and another 40 acres scattered around the ranch in small parcels where mining claims were(I don’t even know where those are🤷🏿♂️)

It’s a spring head box used to have good water running down to the trough we passed sounds like it can still produce water on wetter years

There could be gas down that well. Never go where you dont know nothing @bout the area.
You NEVER go down into a shaft or tunnel without knowing the air is safe but I guess if there’s no bodies at the bottom it’s safe.

No cross fences and only a check of pieces of perimeter fence so it takes up diesel fuel tires and horses
