I also quit my job in the middle of a pandemic. It was so draining and the office politics were horrible. I'm taking a career break now, I wanted to do this for some time. I found my creativity again ❤️
Thinking of doing the same....well, not thinking.....just waiting for the right time. Willing to take a much lower paying job to be much closer to home.
I soo agree about creating wealth and abundance without the hustle culture! I have a same story to you and was constantly working in a job that i hated trying to prove something but getting nowhere except sick and burnout to the point where I had to leave. Leaving was the best decision I ever made! Sooo proud of you girl and hope you're doing well! 🙌🏻💞
After watching this video. I knew I had to quit my job. I was holding on to a negative situation because of fear. I’m glad I quit. I Thank Jesus for removing me from that situation.
I commend you on living your truth.I just walked away from high paying job that no longer served me.It was a big leap, but ultimately my peace, & happiness has no price tag..I had over extended my stay at place that didn't value, but kept dumping more work on me. I finally decided to bow out gracefully😤😤
Heyy - Just quit my well paying job of 5 years 2 weeks ago. I have also worked basically all the time since I was 15 (31 now). I disliked my job a lot. It was very boring and repetitive (processing paperwork in an office *barf*). I am a creative and exciting person. The job was not for me. I am taking some time to rest and evaluate what I truly want in life. I feel you when you say you feel like a piece of shit not making money. I feel the same way but it is just in your head. Working on that as well. Reading Eckhart Tolle and other spiritual authors has helped me greatly. Love the vid thanks hope you are doing well!!!
Currently watching these to motivate myself to quit Update: Took my two weeks vacation but because covid is affecting us so bad here in Trinidad and I’m an essential worker at my job I’ll remain a bit more until quarantine lockdown is over I’m really drained tho
@@godsonmontell I'm so sorry to hear about your situation. Quitting a job is definitely a privilege, especially during a time like this. I hope things start to look up in Trinidad and that you have the opportunity to quit soon. Sending you healing energy your way. Enjoy your vacation!!
Hearing this today make me want to quit my job. I used to be in a good project but things changed when I transferred to this one. Pressure, stress, OT, etc. 😥. My colleague/friend got an anxiety attack while working. I feel i am near to it.
Hi Freya, I am so sorry you are at a place that is so stressful to the point of anxiety attacks. I hope you can find a place that nourishes you vs drains you. It’s out there. 💞
I've quit my job a few weeks ago to pursue music and stay focus on that! Watching your video felt like I was given a hug, thank you for all the wise and positive words ☺️
Great story. I am also in the bay area contemplating making a career change, taking time off to travel, then work in a small business more in line with my passions.
Joy is internal and happy is external. The joy of the Lord is my strength. When I have conflict or confusing things happen he (the Lord) is there. He (my source of joy) will never leave me or forsake me. How? Because he is not built on sinking sand. Money, wealth can sink, neighborhoods, schools and university teachers can abandon you walk out on you. So ultimately who can you trust that will NEVER leave you or forsake you. So yes, you are right it was a hustle culture you left. Glad you rested and got to notice nature.
This video really resonated with me on so many levels and I feel like I found it at the perfect time. Funny too, because my word for this year that I chose is TRUTH. Thank you 🙏
I worked through the pandemic. Then I seen another opportunity. So I took it. I lasted a week my hands swelled up and I walked. Because I over did it. My condition would cease with a couple of days off. But I did admit to them I wasn’t used to all the over time. Well I lasted a week. I went in a couple of hours early. Shook the hand of the supervisor on duty. Thanked him for having me. But told them it wasn’t fair to continue to train me if I couldn’t stick with it. I did consider asking to come back to my job before this last one. Which was of 21 years. But I’m glad I’m out of there. The only reason why I stuck around was health insurance. I was off a couple of month because I had covid. My father had it at the same time. He died from it. I should have quit before it happened.
@@StellaGoldxo were you working on the tech side of things? I'm in my first year in tech. How is it like after a few years? I already, more or less, have the next 10 years planned out for myself with some wiggle room.
This is tough to answer because there is a LOT I can say about the systemic issues we have (I am speaking moreso about the USA). My only suggestion: maybe it’s not just about “finding” the money to live. Maybe, it’s about creating it. 💫 we have more power than we know.
I guess we are still in the pandemic....I am drained. I feel like I lost my purpose, I know I have one but......office politics suck I am over it but I still have mouths to feed. I wish I could walk away.
A lot of people did quit their job and chose to be supported the government and I don’t know how that translates to being yourself but to each their own
Damn. Lol The same year same month you quit your job, those assholes at my last job fired me with a bullshit excuse. Immediately filed for unemployment, waited a month, then the next month got another job. Now this job I have now is slowly killing me but I told myself, "This is it. You're not getting another job after this. You better get off of your arse and start doing what you are passionate and good at which is ART-RELATED. Stop being afraid of being judged and show your sh!t around to possible clients. You don't want another job...You want a LIFESTYLE THAT WILL GENERATE MORE INCOME THAN WHAT YOU HAD AT *ANY* JOB."

Thanks so much for the kind words Jackie! Congratulations on your new chapter. It's so much more fun over here :) I certainly have no regrets.
Yeah I completely hated my job.
But it helped me alot to grow.
Was it worth it? Yes.
But when it is too much, it is too much.

Great video Stella! I also quitted my job during Pandemic and YES I have NO REGRET too :)
I could not agree more. We are to help each other and remember we are not alone. We got to take charge or our lives and move forward no matter what :)
We are all chasing something. I have changed my perspective as I age. I don’t want the normal ‘rat race.’ I seek satisfaction. God speed to everyone.
