I'm not going to lie, this brings the game back into a whole new light for me. I love it. This looks like so much fun, especially super jumping from friend to friend.
One of my fellow forum posters suggested a "playground mode:" no rules, no objectives, just a sandbox with whatever you and your fellow seven squid-kids wanna do. Hardcore parkour? Squidrace? Art projects? You name it!
I've had a couple of mini parties where if it's super obvious the opposing team is winning and we're literally backed into our base with 30 seconds left, I normally instigate it and I do get a couple people following from both sides. The best one I've had so far was during the last battle before the Spicy/Sweet/Sour Splatfest ended, we had a massive all match squid party. That was a blast, I had so much fun!

Chizypuff yeah sometimes i'll get random matchups with people who want to squid around and its always super cool. squid parties are the best they never fail to make me laugh :D

This happens a lot to me and my friends whenever a foreign/ Japanese kid comes in and ruins our parties. I feel like they're too serious sometimes. We just all gang up on him afterwards

I'd try doing squid parties and failed starting them multiple times (once i saw a person squidkidding in ranked but ranked is NOT a place to squid party, so i didn't join). It was the 3rd of September. i had started off the match booyah-ing and squidkidded a bit. suddenly, the japanese carbon player next to me by the name suika/watermelon started squidkidding too! Another japanese charger on the other team saw what we were doing and tried to join in, but alas, we got splatted. the next few matches, more and more squids joined in. we had 6 people, 3 on our team and two on the other partying down on the bottom platform of saltspray rig. what a wonderful event.
One time there was a party crasher in this turf war lobby on my team, he kept super jumping to me so while I was partying with the ENTIRE OTHER TEAM OF CHARGERS, the other team just took aim like a freakin firing squad XD I was always out of the way though...
This happened to me too a few days ago it started off with me and my friend just squidding about then some Japanese person joined Then more people And then no one was turfing anymore We all added each other Good times good times
Actually managed to do this in a A+ ranked match one time. Everyone except one person on the other team rage quit during Splat Zones on blackbelly skatepark, so we all just started doing some squid ballet until the time ran out. (Best part is that the team rage quit happened later on my side, and I only lost *1 point* because I didn't quit, compared to everyone else who lost 10)
