I just realized at 1:08:23 that whenever he got a bunch of extra mana from the mega invoke he could hologram into hologram into hologram for a bunch of extra block, which is definitely what he should have done here.
Trump: i have a really focused deck, it can generate so much mana, that i can't even spend it all every cycle!
Also Trump: Discards cards with actually meaningful effects over turbo, which is basically equivalent of a curse if not cast, and 2 curses if cast for the whole run
Triggering watching him remove defends and strikes and keeping turbo 😂

Every time he doesn't use Beam Cell before attacking makes me want to scream. He also kept ignoring card draw, which would actually make Streamline a decent card.
Ye I kept thinking by the end that all he needed was card draw because of all the mana he had lying around, though he did manage to make good use out of streamline without that much card draw.
you need to spend energy on card draw, which can be solved by not having the card draw.

All for One would've been a better pick for most of the holograms he did. Especially with the Beam Cell+ etc he skipped

Having 2 upgraded holograms in deck makes defend pointless
The defect is my favorite character on this. My favorite strat is to get a lot of 0 cost cards, plus cards that grant extra energy and cards that either pull the 0 cards out of my discard or reshuffle my discard pile into my draw pile to get more 0s.

If you kill the cleric on the cleric+centurion fight, centurion starts a more difficult pattern of alternating heavy attacks and 3 light attacks. The 3 light attacks scale with strength really hard and can be very spooky. Trump just got lucky and landed on the good side of the pattern first.

i would have taken a skim , but i understand that he didn't see far enough to consider it that early , sometimes planning your deck can be tricky and you realize late that you skipped a useful card

honestly 1 or 2 claws might be good in a stream line deck since it a 0 cost something like 1 hyper beam 2 stream line 2 claws for damage 5 block/energy support cards with pri relic
2 halo is amazing as defends 1 double energy 2 charge batteries? sounds pretty good I gotta try this it looks fun
also if you can pull off meters strike it alot of burst

@@simonjebavy I agree, but I have been watch trump for years. He purposely does things that triggers his viewers. Noticed it one day and he smirks when he does it. Not saying he’s the best right now but he knows the obvious plays doesn’t get people interacting with him on stream and in the comments.
Trump starts to build a plasma damage defect deck and then doesn't pick up Hyperbeam XP
As a regular in this game, I can definitely say that the heart is not noticeably harder on asc 8 than it is on asc 1. You just had a far less optimized deck than you're used to. You're really good at deck building in general so you naturally look for synergies, of which STS has in bounds. This was the weakest deck you've played thusfar.
Not really weak , just required a couple more cards that he skipped becuase they were not really obvious picks for a non long term player to pick early when you have planned to build a deck like that , overall he did, fine , made some questional decisions, played very risky but it went well , i still enjoyed the watch !
Having never played this game I am going to still back seat and say he was floating way to much mana so often that he probably should have added more damaging cards or draw cards.

man the hyperbeam was cool but he couldve made the most insane tempest deck, by using the multicast like 3 times by grabbing from the discard and having huge mana to just cast a million lighting orbs

@@seansmith1287 a note, you need to match his settings exact, including his ascension. So make sure to play on 8, with defect, with all unlocks.
It's so infuriating that he doesn't know how multi cast works and not using it to gain 10+ Mana off of one plasma orb
Why did you keep capacitor. Why. God pls. It literally does nothing. Not a thing and you removed strikes and defends instead of it. Whyyyyyyy
Trump made a lot of bad calls this run, but I can't say keeping capacitor over strikes and defends was one of them. As a power, it's out of the deck cycle after one play. The strikes and defends may not be 100% useless like the capacitor was, but they are very bad and they also are stuck in the deck being drawn and played over and over. Late game, having what amounts to a Slimed status card is better than the basic strikes and defends.
Not be picking. But shouldn't the gun in the title facing the right instead of the left. Since your character stands to the left side. Your title insinuates that you are being shot, not the enemy.
