He has a full on relationship with not only his voice but his guitar. I grew up knowing Chris before he was Chris. He comes back home and gives free concerts yearly. The best man ever. Period. Any music. Any genre.
I 'discovered' Chris when he performed with JT at the CMAs, as well, and was equally blown away. I spent the next couple hours scouring YT for everything he'd ever done. The first time I heard Either Way, I sobbed. Same with Barely Alive. He has the ability to reach into your soul and make you feel everything he's singing, both through his lyrics and his vocal abilities, even if you've never experienced it personally. He's incredibly special and 100% legendary.
