NASA Plans To Send Mission To Proxima Centauri In 2069
NASA wants to send a spacecraft to Proxima Centauri, Earth’s nearest stellar neighbor, in the next 50 years or so.
Scientists from the U.S. space agency recently presented a paper at the American Geophysical Union’s Fall 2017 meeting in New Orleans, discussing the same. The researchers talked about a possible future mission, which would need a spacecraft traveling at a tenth of the speed of light. The agency is working on developing such a spacecraft by 2069.

The interstellar transfer was inefficient, you could've used jupiter for a gravity assist. Other than that, great video!
Yep, i used a satellite with only a ion engine and let my satellite encpunter with jupiters moon alot till it changed my trajectory to escape the ss

I did that once Went straight into venus without any orbit i used The atmosphere and A descent stage to land and entered at 1000 MS and it was really hard to pull of
It wasnt very fast... i went in at 10k m/s before.

all sorts of coordinate precision errors at those massive ranges... really reminds me of what happens to large craft when you fly them a few million units out in space agency (once did this with a 75 module station, it got really wonky after a while)

You should have used 5 ion engines as long as the propulsion module (almost) so it fits in so its not a sore thumb

I have a ship like dat execpt no heat shield but its does not take reentry damage due to the powerfull the tanks are
Bro... The reentry effects are faked. They come in a few months out. He has a tutorial for making "faked" reentry effects.
