2:47 yes please, would love to see that. A chatbot that could conversationally collect a lead’s contact information & answers to qualifying questions and save it as a contact entry in a CRM like go High Level or another database would be epic. For example name, number, income, credit score, etc.

Amazing tutorial. I currently have the free version of Zapier so there were quite a few things in this video I could not do, such as:
cannot Authenticate to OpenAI
cannot use ChatGPT 4.0
cannot change the theme, navigation, branding, and tracking
cannot add a Datasource
Just letting people who have the free version what they won't be able to do. That being said, this video was cool enough to get me to upgrade my Zapier plan so that I can do it all. Thanks!!
I did find out the same conclusion only after following the video. I thought that it was slightly disingenuous to leave out all the points you so kindly made.
@@richardwhite7728 Corbin probably didn't realize because he has the Premium Zapier plan and just didn't know what all was included in Premium vs Free plan. Was still a nice tutorial but wanted to let others know in case they couldn't find a few things.

I'm pretty sure Chatgpt doesn't have voice modifiers. But there are alot of deepfake style voice changers out there.

Question I can't seem to find a video to! Could you in theory connect a database of users to a custom gpt and allow the end user to be suggested other users based on their areas of interest?
So I could chat w the AI and say "hey id like to connect with accountants, in detroit" and it pulls up a list of profiles that match that?
Yes, this is possible, but it would require a lot more custom work since databases tend to be much larger than 1 MB.

Would love it to go over the assistant ai for a more in depth use case where our product catalogs are much larger and we query them. Also how to update the underlying data as well.
Amazing content as always!! I have one concern though, in my case I have over 300 products in my shopify website and I would love to input all that information into the knowledgbase for the chatbot, but also all the other relevant content that can be found in my FAQ, about us page and others. Do you have any advice on how to do it? (I know you can export the products information in a csv but the other information is what makes me more doubtful). Thank you in advance.
Incorporate a section within the CSV you export that includes all the other relevant information you care about, such as the FAQ. In the future, Zapier will also be able to connect to websites as a data source.

Is it possible to create a Custom GPT that permits users to upload information during their session, expanding its knowledge base? I'm interested in developing a Custom GPT where users can either upload a file or capture an image, and the GPT can generate a list from the data and subsequently answer questions about it. My goal is to avoid creating separate GPTs for different datasets; instead, I want a single Custom GPT to maintain consistent functionality while accommodating interchangeable datasets for each user.

Based on my understanding, they do not count toward the task; the only cost associated with it is the OpenAI usage.

As of now, the best option in this context would be to work directly with the API.

I also think this might be a business plan from OpenAi: Get all the free data it can get to either train models or benefit directly afterwards.
You cannot control what is not yours and OpenAi is NOT opensource.
CAUTION! FYI there is a failure of direct retrieval with GPT-4 using the new OpenAI Assistant API. GPT tokenizes text and creates its own vector embeddings based on its specific training data. The new terms and sequences may not connect well to the pretrained knowledge in GPT's weight tensors.
There was no semantic similarity between the new API terms and GPT's existing vector space. This is a fundamental issue with retrieval augmentation systems like Rag - external knowledge is not truly integrated into the model's learned weights. Adding more vector stores cannot solve this core problem.
I only have access to GPT 3.5 in Zapier. Do I need to have a paid Zapier account to do this?

It is a lot cheaper than paying someone to do it and saves time.

US$100 / month just to get option to use your own domain (and the title of this video says 'to any website'). Very misleading.
I suspect a lot of the functions we might pay for from zapier will be built-in to future GPT's so consider the cost temporary. Even if open AI doesn't implement the functionality you are looking for, I assure you that the competitive landscape will grow driving coats down. Zapier is charging first to market prices that won't hold up in the long run.
API Assistants are the same as ChatGPTs GPTs, with less capabilities for now. You can create a GPT in the ChatGPT interface then use its settings to set the API Assistant

Seems like a pretty basic chatbot that would require a lot of maintenance for, say, an e-commerce site where the site content can change often. For a static website this may be OK.

Great video. This process lost me with the single 1 mb file though. The training data for our needs includes SOPs, Policies and Procedures that are almost a gig.
In this context, it would be best to take all relevant data and condense it into a text file, as this can be a lot of data for under 1 MB.

Bait and switch. it's not custom GPTs at all. it's Zapier interfaces. they have common ground but are too different tools. Zapier interfaces only allows user to upload file less than 1M as knowledge base, which is useless
