This was another great vid, Liam. It would be interesting for you to compare doing the same thing via Central using a "slow" Zap app as a use case with using the same Zap app in a Custom GPT Action to see if it's just as slow at producing the result. That would also show how easy it is to create the same vs a Custom GPT with Zap Action.

I guess you have to connect the notion API with zapier , so that the bot can access the page and gives you results as it cannot read SQL directly when you use notion databases
i don't think it's ready for prime time, but I do think this AI first approach to chatbots and connecting them to services (basically function calling) is promising!

Hi Liam , im in 3rd and last year of my degree of Data Science and im doing the project course and i intend to build a kind of complex chatbot that will work like it was a personal trainer , giving reccomendations on the workout plan , explainning how to make exercises with videos inbuted(is this las thing possible?) . I want the chatbot to keep track of the client fitness values like weight , etc so it coudl continuasly help the user . Thank you very much for the tutorials , they are saving my life

Liam, I have an academic level question for the use of this tool, and wanted your opinion on plausibility for accomplishing what is proposed in the paper on a ridiculous scale, never done before... with Central Zapier. Unfortunately you'd have to review my academic work (which used GPT-4) to get an idea. a) are you willing and b) how should I get it to you/ahold of you?
question is: will it work with microsoft office suite/power suite within an enterprise. I can do gmail and sheets but I need it to work in MSoffice 365
You can request GPT to create the data in a table, copy it, and paste it into Notion. It is much quicker manually.

Awesome as always Liam! Based on your video I tried it out and it is super easy to deploy it to a Facebook page's Messenger as a bot that works from a google doc as knowledgebase. I just have a client for whom it would be perfect (local restaurant chain for their page with 20k followers). The only downside I see here is that it is slow, like you mentioned. I'm sure it will get faster very soon. It is a super easy way to allow clients to update their knowledgebase super easily in a google doc. Great stuff!

Cool. It's like having a mentally re*arded overly enthusiastic assistant who tries to do things right but always inevitably fails somehow in a subtle or spectacular way. Kind of like Overly Attached Girlfriend combined with the guy from the Dinner Game (Le Dîner de Cons, 1998).
In conclusion, the AI was created to MITIGATE this kind of mental boilerplate work that these semi-working GPTs create when trying to work with them. Thanks for demonstrating this in the video. This means the the current "AI" is not really ready yet.

Good video. To be honest, this isn’t something new. With Make and its ChatGPT module, you can do literally the same. However, always good to see different systems and their capabilities and limits.

I LOVE AI Agents... but I'm left wondering: Why hasn't anybody developed a system/app that takes the API's from the top LLMs, created agents for each, and then have these agents all work together to brainstorm, debate, review, and solve problems? I often get 4 different answers from 4 LLMs, so why not have them all setup as agents "in one room" working together to come up with the "best" solution. I can't find anybody that's tried this... why not? Wouldn't having the "top minds" (LLMs) working together produce better results?
So it works....sometimes. Blow our mind, maybe. Useful for clients or our own business. Not yet.
My biggest blocker, with MOST of these tools, is data privacy. It is SO hard to get over the hump of "can I REALLY upload my financial records to this platform and call it a day?" I like the idea of all of this. I worry that 99% of my clients have data they wouldn't just upload to some new trendy platform. I know that Zappier itself has been around for a while, but data privacy has been my biggest obstacle in making any real projects happens... =(
That's a damn good point and I would like to add "Your idea and source being copied". It has been seem that Amazon FBA's fast moving and high revenue generating products have been copied by Amazon. It is on grapevine that source codes lying in Github repository has been copied and used without authorisation. All these platforms are large data centers which monitors any new products or service through their B2B enabling services like Zapier for the unknowing startups. What do you think is the solution to this vulnerability?

Using spreadsheets as databases has been a thing for many many years.
Hence the prominence of csv formatting.
Using gsheets as a rinky dinky mvp database has been possible for about a decade? if not more?

GPTs are just an intermediate step to a larger framework that is built directly into GPTx. They give us GPTs so that we have experience with something like agents. The next versions of GPT will be able to do just that. Perform tasks autonomously.
