Using a wide tooth neem comb and litttllextra cocooionn herbal hair oil and shampoo has made a good improvement in my hair fall. My hair is less likely to hair fall and also looks smooth. This blend really works for hair fall reduction.
I started using Cooconion’s shampoo since January 2024 when I encountered a severe hairfall issue unexpectedly. Since then, I’ve continued using it because it’s highly effective and it’s gentle on your hair. I use the shampoo with conditioner with each wash and have definitely seen improvements. I’ve finished a few bottles and will get a new one soon.
losing hair due to TE is in my opinion is the third worst thing that can happen to a woman besides being diagnosed with cancer or losing someone. As women, “,”our hair is very important to us; and those who say your hair doesn’t define who you are shut the fuck up.For so many people, hair is part of their identity it’s not just a bunch of fibers laying on top of our heads. And for those who say that beauty is skin deep that’s total crap ,because the first thing we see in a person is their appearance not their “good heart” that comes later. Not to mention that hair loss crushes self esteem. speaking from a personal experience. Hair does matter A LOT!!!
No. Losing your hair due to alopecia areata or female pattern baldness is way worse than TE because in AA and in FPB there's nothing you can do. TE is temporary. And please stop comparing losing your hair due to TE to losing someone or having cancer. It's cruel.
Absolutely. I have struggled with chronic TE for 8 years, and doctors have been useless, misdiagnosed me because they don't care enough to take the time to make a real diagnosis. It has made me feel ugly. I feel like I can never look like a normal person. I can never dress up and look hot anymore. I can't ever feel physically attractive, and it happened to me when I was only 32. Taking a woman's hair away is like a cruel and sadist attack on her self worth and confidence, and finding a doctor to care or properly treat it is REALLY hard. I have had to figure everything out myself.
Totally agree! I've been there after my burnout, my family was making fun of me , saying I was too "shallow" I used to have a bunch of hair. It's like loosing a limb. The suffering is real. Nobody took me seriously. I was alone in this nightmare. The good news it stopped eventually. 😊
I was in tears even after my TE diagnosis. I went from long thick hair using a scrunchie to super thin using a toddler band ( could fit over my thumb 😥) but, I survived covid so I should be thankful to be here and it's only hair, It will grow back. Thank you!
same, my hair used to barely fit around 2 times w a scrunchie and i found the scrunchie today 4.5 months into TE AND IT TOOK 4X wrapping to put my hair up. how is you TE now tina?
you have helped me so much just this morning alone. I felt like I noticed thinning a couple weeks ago, went to doctor, and was told that nothing is wrong, no blood tests or patch tests... still feel like I'm noticing hair loss. I've had the most stressful three months of my life thus far, and I think that is where this is coming from. I feel I am only noticing thinning in my temples, but no one else is really noticing it. I have relied on my looks for a while, and even if I'm not actually losing hair - I'm glad that experiencing this has woken me up to my spiritual, mental, and physical health. If I am losing hair, then I am ready to learn whatever I am supposed to learn from it. Thank you for your videos
I think TE might be the reason why I lost over 50% of my original hair density 4 years ago. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be growing back. Makes me super sad bc my hair used to be my pride 😢
I've been dealing with devastating hairloss since 2008 due to hypothalamic amenorrhea. Stress, restrictive eating disorder (orthorexia), and exercise addiction which resulted in hypothalamic amenorrhea for 12 years! I've lost so much hair during this time that I've been relying on comb covers and hairspray. Brutal on your self esteem. Been working on recovery from my disordered behaviors for over a year now and regained my period 7 months ago (hallelujah). I've noticed less hair falling out the past few months and little sprouts are appearing which gives me hope. Hoping to start seeing improved density by the end of the year. 🤞
Hello guys i just want to help you all. I am16 yeard old last december I got a major abdominal surgery and dengue, after 3 months (march) my hair starts falling, I cut my hair shorter and use different diy hairmask, I use onion+ginger juice every night for 2-3 weeks, it really helps me a lot and it decrease the hair shedding. I also use coconut oil and it is the best hair mask and it is very effectivr and it has a great smell that the onion juice. After 5 weeks of hair shedding now my hair is growning back. Please be patience and strong, you well get through this you can do it guys❤
Hello, I just discovered you and your channel today. I have been dealing with chronic TE since September 2017. Like you, I had just gotten my hair colored. Within 15 days I was noticing scalp. Root cause for me seems to be malnutrition in combination with hormone issues. For anyone reading this comment, a high protein diet has done more for regrowth than anything else I have tried. After nearly 3 years I have genuine hope for recovery. I just learned today that chronic TE can last as long as 7 years. I'm feeling quite blessed to see signs of recovery after just 3 years.
I started losing a ton of hair due to TE back in July November and it just started again. I didn't take the time to manage my stress back in my first hair loss and I regret it so much. Watching your videos makes me feel so much better because I literally have all your symptoms. It does destroy your confidence though.
Thank you so much for these videos. It feels really good knowing there are people out there, who have undergone the same and have started their recovery journey. It gives a lot of hope. I had first noticed my hair fall was getting very severe 1 year and 8 months back. I got diagnosed with TE last year this day. I believe that, living in constant stressful situations since a few years and being completely stuck in it combined with unhealthy eating habits have resulted in my hair loss problem. Now I am making efforts to come out of these situations and lead a healthy and happy life. But it is not easy...and this hair loss issue is not making it any easier😅. A few months after the diagnose I have had few visible new hair growth and reduction in hair loss. But again hair loss increased drastically. But I am still hopeful about my recovery. I wish everyone going through this issue find strength for their journey too.
Thanks a lot for your video, I recovered from covid-19, 3 months ago and just started noticing Telogen Effluvium and I am loosing hair crazily every single day and it's devastating.
I love the fact you realized beauty comes from within, so even though you went thru a difficult time, you have turned it into a positive learning experience, you are on the road to gaining wisdom young lady.
I like how you actually explained how having this problem made you connect within urself deeply and be grateful. Me personally I been going through it, but I’m a guy and I’m praying for all of us going through this to recover. God bless everyone
me too bro, i’ve been super stressed from work… pretty much was skipping breakfast/lunch. eating about once a day, so i’m sure stress and not eating for that long triggered it. anyways i’ve always had long thick hair and right now it’s shedding (bout 2-3 months now) but i’ve fixed my diet , added vitamins to it, i also am lifting/doing bjj training. so hoping this will fix and give me my thick hair back!! shit is awful feeling lol, im gaining lbs since i’ve started eating again like crazy, so if i am gonna be bald well i guess i’ll be in shape… but damn
Thanks 4 sharing. Need to hear some support. I'm very sensitive and everytime I have life issues, my hair gets worried😢....so everytime it stopped eventually. Now I'm in it again, post pandemic stress. 😢
i know!!!!! if i knew telogen effluvium was a thing...i would have never took those extra jobs last summer..and overwork myself and get so stressed about it...losing 2/3 of my hair wasn't worth it and yes...it was to my hips and super thick italian hair..now its under my boob and half as dense...9 months since telogen shed..and now its fluffy at the top and thin at the bottom
I'm also suffering from telogen effuluviem since 2015... I consulted doctor.. But there was no effective result... Then I shaved my head... And It's growing now... But still hair is falling.....😢
it sounds like you may have chronic telogen effluvium which can last for a couple of years. have you gotten any blood tests done? or are you on any medications like birth control? I am going through something very similar and found out it was due to an iron deficiency and my BCP.
What birth control are you on? Is it possible to be on a birth control pill for a few years and then suddenly experience hair loss because of it? Or would it be immediate after you started taking the pill?
Aww thanks! I hope that it will end for you soon - just work on slowing down the shedding and speeding up the regrowth! Have faith - it will get better!!
O my god, that's exactly the same as me! My hair has been falling out since I was 15 and I'm 19 now. I lost 2/3 of my hair ugh. Idk whether its telogen effluvium since my doctor hasn't given me a diagnosis as to why my hair is falling🙄 but its falling from my hair parting, so it might be TE but I'm not sure
trying to not stress out when noticing the sudden vast shedding is... fun luckily yeah the symptoms lined up completely, mine was caused by nutrition deficiency, no doubt about that. I was literally starving myself with the sole purpose of "seeing what would happen"
I am going through this now. hair was super thick /long. I had all blood work done. everything was good... ferritin was super low...I'm taking something for it now.. I've been losing hair since April of this year. it's on going. when does this end??? dermatologist stated it depends on me 😨 any feed back would be greatly appreciated 😔. also he prescribed Prescription ketoconazole shampoo..
I would definitely work on getting your blood work figured out - I really think that is important for regrowth. Also, have you checked out my doctors and hairloss vid? i talk alot about finding the root cause of your loss which could be helpful for you. As for the topical / shampoo stuff I would stick with it if you feel its working, and switch it up if you dont.
I did the same thing. Self diagnosed but I saw a dermatologist after two bad washes. Now I'm washing my hair in the bath. Shampoo without a vigorous scrub, then shake it under water to rinse. Same thing after my deep conditioner. Since I don't feel like I'm scrubbing my scalp enough I sometimes put rosemary oil in my bath near my scalp and the warm water helps to absorb the oil which is a DHT blocker. Also I don't stress as bad bc I'm not getting clumps in the shower. Still in the first two weeks of this and I'm taking a blood test on Monday. I realize I have to get used to it and just do my best. Not seeing it come out helps me not to stress as much. Gonna uptick my protein and whole foods intake, take vitamins and workout. 🤞 hoping this doesn't last super long but if it does these videos will get me through it. Thanks!
I try to not thing about T.E because I know it'll make me sad and upset and reallllyyyy conscious...but when one regular sees hair strands falling out while combing or washing how can we just not care about it😭I try my best but every single day at some point of the day I'll end up thinking about it and get really really upset and start crying...I got T.E because of excessive stress and not maintaining a proper time table for eating and sleeping.. now I'm strictly following the order plus I went to a doctor who prescribed me some serums and supplements I really really pray that this situation just resolves asap...I can't take this shit anymore...I don't wanna go bald. It's really difficult for me, I'm just 19 😭
Honestly (and respectfully) F*CK HAIR LOSS! I absolutely so sick of fear of being bald controlling my life! I suffered with TE last year and a barely coming out of it a few months ago, I wanted to have long and thick hair like I’ve always had before this but it’s so difficult. -F*CK THAT! I’m staying with short hair until my hair is fully back, and I mean SHORT hair! BC my dumbass likes to obsess and be self absorbed about my appearance. So no long hair for you young adult me! And I strongly encourage others with long hair to try this! It’s easier on the brain bc you can’t see shorter strands falling out. I also recommend layers and PLEASE do NOT put off washing your hair bc you it will fall out more. ITS GONNA FALL OUT ANYWAYS! Might as well have it clean. Also workout more, no one has ever gotten hair loss from exercise. It’s hard and it takes patience but it gets better, and She’s right too, you learn how be more confident in yourself, so don’t worry. WE GOT THIS! 💪
Thanks for sharing your story! I look forward to more videos and information. I am suffering from TE as well and it's been so hard. Your story definitely gives me hope!
Aww! Thanks girl - I'm so glad that this gave you hope!! I know how hard it can be - but it truly does get better with time, just have to try to stay positive in the mean time!
Thank you for this video!!! I did all these things, except I went to the doctor first as I was quite sure the medication he prescribed me caused this ( Accutane - the evil acne healing drug). Long story short - all he said was " it's TE, there's a paper for you to read and you can't do anything about it and you have to stop Accutane" .....it was three weeks ago and I've been crying and Googling non stop. Is there a possibility to go bald because of TE? I have really fine hair, so the quantity always made up for the quality..... P.S. I relied on my looks quite a bit too, as people would always comment on that and how good my hair looks and yes I felt a bit shallow because I'm so worried over it.
Hey - im so sorry to hear you are going thru this - i would not wish it on anyone. I feel like accutane is super hard on your body but know that a lot of times it's the best option. If you have chronic TE I'm sure theres is a chance that your regrowth could be slower than fallout - but i don't think you have chronic as it was likely related to the medication. just try to stay positive and do anything you can to make yourself feel better, it will grow back, it just takes time and being persistent with trying to help it grow back. You want to focus on slowing shedding and speeding up regrowth.
Thank you so much for your reply! I don't actually know how to slow down shedding, all I found online so far is to take supplements or steroids... I don't feel like taking more pills tbh, instead I started using shampoo with no parabens or SLSs and blend of oils to condition my scalp before wash + I take biotin and Zinc daily combined with healthy diet. I guess there's not much more I can do ( or as my doctor said " just wait it out" ) . Thank you again, your video helped me to put my mind at ease, at least for now🙂
I'm still losing hair, it's been 6 months now. However I no longer care, and to be honest it doesn't look any worse than 4 months ago, maybe it's slowing down.... I'm not sure
have you seen any regrowth? i have been losing hair for like 7 months but i also feel like it looks the same as it did a few months ago...i see regrowth but feel like im still shedding a lot.
I had glangler fever and it lasted for almost a year and as a result I also had jaundice and because of that I got Telogen eflium my hair is still growing back after a year of waiting. my hair was strait before I lost it and I could brush it ; after I lost it my hair and it is now extremely curly its unreal ❤️
I watch this because I have my hair loss right now. It happened to me suddenly without any reasons, just because stress maybe. I had two bone fracture this year without reason, and it was horrible, because they said I maybe have cancer. Fortunately I havent but it was a horrible few months. The reason of the fractures is still not founded. After the fracture diagnosis and the cancer fear 3 months later my hair is starting to fall, and fall and fall. I dont decice would I shave my head or not? Because its very horroristic when my long hair is fall down. I dont know my hair loss is a TE or not but I think it is. I hope its just acut form not chronic. I dont want to be bold forever. I had a long strong beautiful hair always. :( :(
Count your blessings and do what you can to promote regrowth! It takes time but im sure it is related to your fractures as that would make sense - be as healthy and stress free as possible! I know it is hard but it really is important!
@@LAURENNEWLY thanks. I try to be strong and hope my hair is gonna regrow. But its very hard. And its weird, that I dont have cancer, but my hair is falling just like the cancer suffers`s, and if I gonna be bold, everybody thinks I have cancer. 😔 Its a very bad irony.
I have chronic TE and it destroys my confidence i can't remember my thick hair anymore it's a nightmare of bunch of hair in floor but damn it's my reality. I want to recover but nothing working (vitamins, hormones, etc i tried all) and pls help me an msm treatment or biotin supplement will help?
@@midnightlover5179 you will have to do body based therapies like TRE by David Berceli (you can youtube it), there's tapping therapy, emdr, doing yoga, Tai chi, anything that helps remove stuck traumatic emotion. It's best to work with someone like a therapist also or practitioners in these above fields. It will take time but it's important that you release the emotions. It's incredibly painful but it will help you now and for the future
@@midnightlover5179 there are so many therapies to choose from! Even acupuncture, massage therapy, qi gong, reiki, just make sure you find what works for you. Do lots of self care. Sleep, surround yourself with loving people who are good to you.
I talk about this in my TE journey in phases - it just depends on your hair texture and how fast it grows but after you get past the regrowth being really short you feel normal.
I just started shedding hair like crazy a few weeks ago and recently got diagnosed with TE. I have watched nearly all your videos and they have been so helpful. How did you “get over it” like you said in your mental tips video? I keep trying but it’s so hard not to worry/stress about the hair loss. I am terrified of how it’s going to look if I keep losing this much hair everyday 😭😭😭
I am so sorry you are going through this - I feel like to "get over it" I really just tried to put it in perspective and be grateful for things in my life that were good - also be grateful that the hair loss was temporary and wasn't due to a dangerous underlying condition. Time also helps!
I had the same thing happen to me too but like my doctor was kinda stupid and told me I have alopecia, but i don't have alopecia coz my hair is not lost in spots ,it's lost throughout my scalp ,it's starting to grow back now slowly
Thank you for sharing your videos , it was really helpful, I woke up one day with burning and painful scalp and extreme hair shedding, my hair loss is accompanied with tingling and burning sensation, and I mostly lose my hair while sleeping, sometimes new hair growth starts shedding if i experience painful sensation in that area, did you experience this mainly the burning and painful sensation on your scalp??
User 99 yes! This is what has been happening to me too. I never ever experienced that burning feeling in my life until getting TE. How are you now? Have you found anything eases the scalp pain?
@@sheshitritton7868 the pain will gradually reduce and you start feeling normal after six months, you will experience hair growth but pain will slightly be there, thank god TE is temporary, unfortunately for me the pain was there most of the time sometimes there's a break , and the pain goes away then I think my hair is growing again and te has stopped but the pain comes back again in a few days and hair shed all this happens within the six month period!!
User 99 thank you so much for the response, I really appreciate it. I am the same, I have the burning pain and sensitivity most of the time, it’s been one of the hardest symptoms and just that constant reminder that something isn’t right. Thank you for letting me know it will ease with time. It’s driving me crazy. I’m almost at 6 months now and hoping the worst is behind me now!
Hi Lauren- reading your story has given me hope. I am 99% sure that I have acute TE that was brought on by a sudden hormone change in my body from stopping the birth control pills. I stopped in late April and first noticed the great shed late July/early August, right around the 3 month mark. It's awful since I have such fine hair to begin with. Just stumbled on your blog and videos yesterday, and let me say this is a much better source of info and support than anywhere else I found online. What type of doctor did you get your official diagnosis from? I'm struggling with whether to go to my primary care doctor, OBGYN since I think it's related to stopping the pill, or a dermatologist. Regardless, I feel I have already researched everything they will tell me (or I possibly know more than them on this topic haha), but do want to make sure it's not being caused or prolonged by something that does need medical attention like vitamin deficiencies or low hormone levels post pill. TE is such a fustrating thing to experience!
Aww thank you so much - I'm so glad you found my info! I first went to PCP and he diagnosed me with hair loss then just went of what my parents said (both doctors) cause they looked into it for me and did my own research and it made sense with my lief at the time. i would start with PCP if you trust them most but you could just try OBGYN or dermatologist cause PCP may refer you anyways, and totally think it is a good idea to get some blood work done to rule out anything thats easily fixable!
Helloooo I think I may have the same problem. I'll have a diagnosis in a few days, but I think I've lost 50% of my hair now (but I had so much hair that it's not so visible when the hair is not wet). Do you think that time-consuming and difficult studies can affect hair that way? I am a student and my studies are very very difficult, during 1year of quarantine it was very difficult for me. But on the internet, they say that the cause is much more the fact to give birth or the death of someone... what do you think?
Hloo I saw the similarity between you in my case. I have been losing hair more than 4 years now . Before 4 years I had dandruff it was very bad filled my scalp but I consulted doctor and got rid of it. But my hairfall didn't cured. I also entered into a stressful study for an exam but now I have no interest in that course anymore. And I got COVID 2 years ago . But hairfall is permanent for me I consulted a famous dermatologist in my area she gave me blood tests but everything is normal. But I thinking other blood tests are there but at last she gave me the same medicine again so I got down lost all hope . And now I am not taking any medicines not stressing out but hairfall still is there it got thinned a lot I think like you said more than 50 % of hair. But the wrong part it everybody looking at me seems like a normal scalp but now my scalp started to visible little bit now . I think I have telogen effluvium I don't know what is wrong with my hair. And now I decided to change my lifestyle and after I will consult another dr. 😑
=Hi its 11 months and although there is some regrowth,my hair is not fully recovered. How long does it take exactly for full hair growth. I wanted to post a photo but don't know how to
How meny times you comb your hair... during this TE time 😶... please tell me...I was suffering from same problem ...i really scared for combing or shampoo 😶
Hi....really nice video.....i am going through TE due to rapid weight lost by intense workout & crush dieting....my TE started suddenly last year.....is it really reversible? plz give some advice
I completely agree with what you said re struggles and making you not focus so much on aesthetics. In the past year I've had to deal with acne, hair loss, weight gain (when I've been shredded and fit for years), and like you always relied on my looks. These struggles have made me far more compassionate to other people and also made me realise I need to develop my people skills a bit more! xx
Hi! thanks for reaching out, I'm sorry you have this going on, I wouldn't wish it on anyone. You just have to have faith that things are going to get better and do whatever you can to slow the shed and speed up the regrowth! My shedding lasted for almost 6 months. It was a lot at first then gradual. But like I say in a lot of my videos, I didn't do all the right things at the beginning. So do your best and try to keep your head up!
Thank you for your answer. Can you also tell, did the new hairs started growing out when the shedding stopped all at once, or more like as soon as they fell out? I haven't noticed any new growth on my scalp yet..
after taking smoothing or keratin on my hair ... i don’t what’s gone wrong but my hair start falling like hell . it’s been more then year my hairfall getting worse day by day. i visit dermatologist then he said i am suffering telgon effluvium. what should i do now?
Hi there! I also had the same experience. I used to have long thick hair and it changed since I dyed my hair with drugstore hair dye. It gotten worse when I got COVID and did keratin treatment. Some might say that the vaccine can be the factor. Anyways, I cut my hair short, no more dyeing or smoothing, and now use no sulfate baby shampoo and be gentle with my scalp. I also use hair tonics. I think it's best if we just let it grow naturally, stay away from salons. I heard egg yolks works wonders, so does fenugreek. Some said use salon quality shampoos, and essential oils. I'm afraid it really depends to each individual! If it's really bothering you, then go see a dermatologist. I hope everything is well for you❤️
You are precious! I know you made this video 3 years ago but thank you! I’m 3 weeks in the this…new life challenge…. Not super fun! Have had some same thoughts as you did! Ok, I shall now continue and binge your other videos:) Thanks again!
@@annushkaagarwal625 Hi! My shedding slowed dramatically right around week six then stopped. I have baby hairs growing in all over my head and I am grateful!
@@dipendradeshmukh4623 hi! My TE trigger was Covid. I lost fast and furious from 2/14- ~4/1/22. I lost 60-70% of my hair. It was awful! It is all grown back now, a year later:) hoping and praying I don’t get it again! Are you dealing with it now?
Omg I am the same way! My personality is great when I feel good about myself on the outside. Blame society but beauty is so important. And when I say that I mean beauty for myself is so important. I'm not hyper focused on others looks as I am my own and if I can get my hair to what yours looks like which is legit....what my hair used to look like then I'd be content. I never had super thick hair. It's always been fine but I had quite a lot of it.
Please reply " I'm a male I'm growing my hair they are now about 5 inches from back and sides and from top they are below my chin" I have got Telogen Effulvium 3 months ago and the hair have become so thin and I lose about 100-150 hair a day and the right side of my hairs have become wider" should I shave my head will it regrow the lost hair or not reply please
Hey - it isn't proven that shaving your head will make it grow back faster or thicker - it may make it less noticeable or look better so it might be a good option, but I wouldn't do it just in hopes that it will make it grow back faster.
I got seriously sick this august due to salmonella poisoning. I couldn't eat anything for 2 weeks, and I only got a cup of liquid a day. I lost 20 pounds during this period of time. However, after about 2 months my hair started to drastically fall off. I lose an uncountable amount of hair every day, and my hair is thinner than ever. I wonder if anyone else is experiencing or has experienced something similar ...
Mette Damgaard OH this happened to me, I got a lovely amoebic parasite from Guatemala in early November . Got super sick and lost 20 pounds too, only noticed the hair shedding about 6 weeks later around now. So far it’s super drastic to me but not really. It’s not great and it makes me feel like shit. Would not recommend! I hope you see some improvement soon!
This is happening to me! I had an awful case of mono starting at the beginning of October. Had to be hospitalized because my liver enzymes were too high (jaundice, ew). That entire month I was stuck at home, unable to do anything but sleep and try to eat/drink (my tonsil was so swollen and causing severe pain). I lost a bunch of weight incredibly fast. I turned 26 in December and not long after started to notice what feels like a TON of shedding, especially in the shower. I still freak out a bit about it, but just giving it time to get back to a normal growth pattern.
Marly Anderson nope. I’m pretty sure I say that in like the first 30 second 😂 but this is just a video of my story since there weren’t many vids like this when I was going thru it and I just wanted people to be able to relate. My other videos are the ones to learn how to fix it! Hope this helps!
Seriously...what a narcissist video this is.. The title portrays that you are telling story of your recovery on how you got back the hair when actually it is all about exactyl what you said ""Rant"..
hello. last year i have used creatin thats why chronic TE has started. i have chronic te since last year. ofc i have stopped using creatin and i do prp and mezo but it diddnt stop. btw all my test are normal. what im a supposed to do
Using a wide tooth neem comb and litttllextra cocooionn herbal hair oil and shampoo has made a good improvement in my hair fall.

Losing hair is the worst. Watching all your videos made me feel far better and felt like I had hope. My hair is gradually getting better. Tysm
you have helped me so much just this morning alone.
ASMR Archery how is your hair doing now?

Can I ask about how much protein?
how is your hair now ? is hair loss over ? i might have cronic te

Update ?
I started losing a ton of hair due to TE back in July November and it just started again. I didn't take the time to manage my stress back in my first hair loss and I regret it so much. Watching your videos makes me feel so much better because I literally have all your symptoms. It does destroy your confidence though.
Are u okay now?
I wish everyone going through this issue find strength for their journey too.

me too bro, i’ve been super stressed from work… pretty much was skipping breakfast/lunch. eating about once a day, so
i’m sure stress and not eating for that long triggered it. anyways i’ve always had long thick hair and right now it’s shedding (bout 2-3 months now) but i’ve fixed my diet , added vitamins to it, i also am lifting/doing bjj training. so hoping this will fix and give me my thick hair back!! shit is awful feeling lol, im gaining lbs since i’ve started eating again like crazy, so if i am gonna be bald well i guess i’ll be in shape… but damn

i know!!!!! if i knew telogen effluvium was a thing...i would have never took those extra jobs last summer..and overwork myself and get so stressed about it...losing 2/3 of my hair wasn't worth it and yes...it was to my hips and super thick italian hair..now its under my boob and half as dense...9 months since telogen shed..and now its fluffy at the top and thin at the bottom

it sounds like you may have chronic telogen effluvium which can last for a couple of years. have you gotten any blood tests done? or are you on any medications like birth control? I am going through something very similar and found out it was due to an iron deficiency and my BCP.
What birth control are you on? Is it possible to be on a birth control pill for a few years and then suddenly experience hair loss because of it? Or would it be immediate after you started taking the pill?

I am going through this now. hair was super thick /long. I had all blood work done. everything was good... ferritin was super low...I'm taking something for it now..
Maybe hormonal issues?

redcandy 45 any updates on your te?

Hi thank you for making this video. I was just wondering if you had fine regrowth during your recovery ?
Hi! Yeah my regrowth was fine when it first started coming back then it got a bit thicker once the hair was a bit more grown in. Hope this helps!
how long do you think it took for your hair to grow back to where it started looking normal?
I talk about this in my TE journey in phases - it just depends on your hair texture and how fast it grows but after you get past the regrowth being really short you feel normal.
It’s very hard to take someone with so much hair, seriously about severe TE.

I completely agree with what you said re struggles and making you not focus so much on aesthetics. Thank you for your answer. Can you also tell, did the new hairs started growing out when the shedding stopped all at once, or more like as soon as they fell out? I haven't noticed any new growth on my scalp yet..
Jula G. Yes I would like to know this too. I can see tons of new growth but still have massive shedding since April.
after taking smoothing or keratin on my hair ... i don’t what’s gone wrong but my hair start falling like hell . it’s been more then year my hairfall getting worse day by day. i visit dermatologist then he said i am suffering telgon effluvium. what should i do now?

What is pcp
primary care physician - just regular doctor
I’m confused. Is this video how to fix this shit lol?
Marly Anderson nope. I’m pretty sure I say that in like the first 30 second 😂 but this is just a video of my story since there weren’t many vids like this when I was going thru it and I just wanted people to be able to relate. My other videos are the ones to learn how to fix it! Hope this helps!
I’m 17 and my hair be fallin out :/
sorry love - stay positive!
Thank you for the tip god bless you 🙏🏽
What kind of a video is this !
Plz
Seriously...what a narcissist video this is.. The title portrays that you are telling story of your recovery on how you got back the hair when actually it is all about exactyl what you said ""Rant"..
I’m sorry you feel that way! Thanks for sharing your opinion - wish you the best!
also it would be narcissistic...
not narcissist - it could be a narcissist's video, or a narcissistic video.
