    If you use a dimmer socket then you can calibrate the temperatures of the tip on your iron to nice an low :)

      Yes, I did that with my previous model, which had no adjustment but this is so close that I haven't bothered. I suppose if I was building waxes and didn't want to boil the wax I may go that route, thanks.

    Hi Craig great video! I've been a long time subscriber of your channel, and just has a quick question.
    What are your thoughts about lost wax investment casting. Would you consider it " hand made" or more of a "process" ?
    Just wondering. ..
    Been seeing alot of confusing information out there.

      I don't know the answer to that. It takes a lot of skill to hand carve the wax but not sure how casting is classified.
