Holy cow was that helpful!! I have had my tools out for 1 week! Stressing about how they go back in. I finally bit the bullet and decided to find help and sure enough there you are! Thank you so much!
You guys are the best. Spend forever trying to figure out how the jack went back. Took it out in the middle of the night to change a tire and waited way too long to try and put it back.
Thanks a lot! I just got my work truck assigned and all the tools were just rattling around on the floor, driving me crazy! I tried to put them together but it was not intuitive for me, but this video spelled it out perfectly
Thank you so much! The placement of my jack was behind the back seat, so it was quite a struggle, but managed through it. Appreciate your instructions. 🙂
Thanks guys...good video. Now I can get rid of the thumping from the back seat every time I hit a big bump. As usual, if you can even find it, Chevy did a poor job in the Owner's Manual. It's online GM come on.
Reviewed this video to finally get my jack and tools back to where they belong, and out of my under seat storage bin. Had to stow the chocks to the jack and squeeze them between the rear seat and the storage to get them into place. Also, my jack sits between the two “hooks,” and not on them like this video shows. The jack also sits way back under the seat back, not as easy to get to like the truck they used in this video.
You really need to show how to get the tool irons on the clip and onto the lug! I cannot get it to go on as easy as you show it! Heck I can’t get it back period!
After you change the tire, you should retorque the wheel nuts with a torque wrench. 140 lbft, I doubt you can tighten them enough with the tire iron/wrench.
Hanging spare tire 1:05
Stowing tools 4:30
Stowing jack 6:25
Thanks for taking the time to post this for all us forgetful guys 😂
What never!😂
Thanks for the video! Huge help for when you pull the jack out of your new truck without looking at it first 😄.

Thanks guys. This was as helpful as any video because it seems impossible to put these things away if you don't do it correctly!
Glad it was helpful!
Been doing bodywork for 4-5 years and it took me 20 min and this video to figure out how to re install that tire jack in the interior oh man
You guys just saved me a mental breakdown refastening the jack under the seat!! Haha thank you 👍👍
Awesome!
Thank you so much for showing a newbie how to take apart and put together the mechanisms for tire changes. Great video guys!

You guys are great. I couldnt figure out how to put my jack back and all other videos had the scissor type jack.
Great video had no idea how to store the jack after taking it out
Many thanks from someone who removes everything w/o paying attention.
Thanks guys finally got mine back in because I didn’t pay attention to how it came out in a hurry on the side of the road putting my spare on
Couldn’t remember how the wheel blocks went back in,thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thanks Grnts. This video saved me a lot of aggravation. Like others jave said, I couldn't remember how the jack went back with the chock blocks
Right! when the tire goes, there is a lot of other things to think about... like not getting run over. Thanks for the comment... it really helps!
It sounds silly but I replaced a tire yesterday and I could not figure it out about the chuck blocks until I watch the video lol. Thanks.

You can also strap the wheel chocks to the jack first and then install the jack as an assembly.
That’s the only way to get it back into place on my 2018 Silverado.
Absolute gold fellas, absolute gold. Thanks for this.
Simple and to the point good job guys thank you.

What about wheel lock key I can’t find my sir?

You're welcome
Never mind the very next video explained. it their wheel chocks
Helped a lor
Helped a lot
This has to be one of the most unnecessarily over complicated procedure just to change a tire! It's just a bad design to begin with.
Lol....... thats what made us decide to do the video!
I had to do it a few days ago on Route 278 in the Bronx. It was a nightmare!
Thank you!
Great video thank you.
Thank you!
