SEMANA SANTA IN MADRID | Experiencing Spain’s Holy Week | Madrid Travel Vlog 2022

Semana Santa in Madrid, Spain! We’re experiencing Spain’s Holy Week in the capital where religious processions will take place the seven days leading up to the Easter holiday.
After finally recovering from catching Influenza B, we emerge from Aimee’s sisters apartment in search of guacamole and tacos. 🥑🌮 We find an amazing Mexicon restaurant, La Mordida, to fulfill our cravings before finding quiet respite at the “secret garden”. The Jardín del Príncipe de Anglona was originally the private gardens of a 16th century estate. 🌸🏡 Then we’re off to the Museo Reina Sofia to find Picasso’s Guernica, the iconic painting of one of Spain’s Civil War tragedies. Afterwards we’re in for a treat as Madrid’s religious processions parade through the streets.
