- Breaking news in the Karen Read murder trial, a judge declared a mistrial after the jury failed to reach a verdict. This after the judge told the jury to return to deliberations earlier on Monday. 12 News Reporter Hannah Cotter has the latest from Dedham.

The jury split as detailed in the Foreperson’s note, was exactly “some” on one side and “others” on the opposite side. I hope the jurors talk to the new, news people, those, who are covering this case with social media channels!

This is an obvious "frame job"! Too bad more autopsy photos weren't made public. The injuries I was able to see were not from being crushed by a three ton SUV. Stephen Smith all over again! If you have a friend or neighbor with a German Shepherd, do a bit of play acting and pretend to get in a fight with the owner of the dog. Watch that dog go "ape shit" on the attacker or anyone else it can get its jaws on. Small community where everybody sticks together, You could hear it with their well rehearsed testimony when countless "eye witnesses" used the same phrases over and over again. Eye witness testimony is the least reliable form of evidence. Almost like a Nuremberg witch trial. Good Luck and God speed Karen Read!

You are being ridiculous about the judge. Karen is an adult not a 16 yr old drunk driver & knew she shouldn't drive. She was totally intoxicated, that was proven, she was driving while intoxicated & that was proven..... so she must pay for her illegal actions.
