Mayuri just looks like an alternate universe version where, instead of modifying his zanpakuto, he actually took the time to properly deepen his bond with it to enhance and unlock more abilities.

I think Soi fon is a great design but I think her art could be better. I'm also biased towards Kisuke so I would bump him to S tier. That is exactly the design I wanted and his ult is awesome.
In my opinion, some of these designs felt more like “Beyond Shikai” rather than “Beyond Bankai”.
IMO the one who is real beyond bankai are gin kaname retsu ichigo byakuya aizen toshiro

I’m not going to comment on Aizen your comments have done enough. But I love how Shinji you mentioned his hair. It’s long on one side and I never noticed till now but it’s really nice. Long on one side and short on the other
I also think Yoru looks like a seasonal character, more specifically a New Years character. I love her, but she definitely doesn't feel like a Beyond Bankai.

Was begging for a new op amazing cool toshiro so when we got the new beyond Bankai toshiro i was so happy and hyped and used all my orbs but couldn’t pull him unfortunately did like 10 multis 😢 but he recently came back and I finally pulled him 3rd multi!!! My fav character!!!
I actually agree with you, for most part. I would maybe swap Mayuri with Yoruichi in my opinion. But good list!

Yes Gin being one of the reasons, got him 2/5 so I'm very happy; been my fav char since he pushed Ichigo out the gate with his sword then became the "good guy under cover as the bad guy"
I think Mayuri beyond bankai form represents hime well, his a scientist he doesn't want to get messy but get results he expects and that means he must watch experiment go.

Well, it is 'bad'. Mayuri's head design is always vary. This beyond bankai is not an exception.

Honestly thus retsu had all the potential in the world. If they have her two blood swords, made her look sadistic, and got rid of the fried egg in gameplay she'd be my fav character in the game. I love her still but damn was I disappointed at her in game model too.

The take on Yachiru is just what I'm thinking. Why the hell it's Retsu model, why can't they just make her eyes smaller and it's automatically becomes Yachiru instead of Retsu

I agree with this tier apart from the fact that Id put Toshiro in A instead of S tier.
As for Shunsui, I can relate to what you say. The design was alright, the gameplay was absolutely disappointing. The 1st and 3rd SA dont make any sense, the 2nd one does and imo it looks amazing and his Soul Bomb is insane. But again, they took away his shadow aspects which is like 70% of his abilities since all of his games have a shadow theme to them despite being childish games turned into reality.
As a massive Shunsui fan, Id put him in D tier, just because I believe they didnt put any thought into his SA kit to begin with.

the biggest problem with characters such as Kenpachi and Yamamoto is that they look weaker in beyond bankai forms compared to actual bankais...
but Soi Fon, even looking weaker, looks better, it fits well with her overall concept
Yoruichi doesn't seem to be right, her form is simply nonsense
Aizen and Kaname are the best overall.
I'd move Aizen to C (his face kinda doesnt fit with the rest of his body to me its like they put a human's head in a weird cosmic-looking butterfly), Soi Fon to C (to me it looks outright ugly), Kaname to D (even tho this form looks better than previous versions he is still just a fly-looking monster), Byakuya to B (I like it but its the most simple design since he just looks like an angel and I also dont like that senbonzakura lost its color), Sajin to S (I was never a big fan of the character but this just makes him look so much cooler), Gin to B (similar reason to Byakuya I think they both lack color and are quite simplistic but I still like the overall look), Retsu to A (the only thing I dont really like about this version is her coat being green even tho I know its because thats Minazuki's skin but I just think it doesnt clash well with the other colors), Mayuri to A (the fact Konjiki is out there doing attacks with him is cool enough to put him in A imo) and Yoruichi to E (cant see the beyond bankai aspect of this character at all even tho the design is really pretty).
And ukitake ain't no S rank. Hell to the no

I STRONGLY disagree that Kenny and Shinji are better than Unohana and Kisuke.
I despise their designs so much. I think they should be at the bottom.
And Mayuri is way too high imo
I can't think of why soifon and byakuya forms can't be cannon if Kubo continues the hell arc. Never liked Yamamoto form. Like as a power up its cool but beyond bankai just don't seem to cut it when his regular bankai does the same. Yoruichi never use her sword, said she is stronger without it they put her in a big dress and a gold sword that don't compliment her hand to hand prefer fighting it don't don't scream for her beyond shunko. Maybe give her a Naruto baryond form where she is in complete control of her cat form and sinji were she become part cat not for fan service but everything about her is cat and if gin is able to have both fox and snake they could had just go further and this form made it a past version unit. Gin and ichigo are slick and simple and I love it since both characters forms always been heavy in 1 color and tight. Everyone else i agree with you nothing to say. Only that aizen should had sss tier hot dang it just so cool and beautiful
Loved the list, BUT... who knows what could it happen if KLab start with Beyond Vollständig, i don't think i would be ready to see one of my favorites, IF not, my favorite, Stern Ritter, Liltotto Lamperd... Bambietta Beyond Vollständig, they break the game!! All in All, i can only hope that, the hell arc become an actual arc, AND... Yamamoto, Unohana and Stark and Ulquiorra appear... i'm sure their designs would be beyond anything we could ever imagine, especially Unohana... it broke me to know that she died, the... LADY of Bleach and, even, THE anime in general.
Shoul've turned yama into a skeleton, give shunsui a shadow coat and the green thing looks terrible, i woul've liked something like demon kenpachi even if it didn't look original, on unohana shoul've just left her with the normal soul reaper uniform, toshiro doesn't even look different in comparison to his normal bankai, make it look like jump force toshiro or make it full red at least that's boring, and kaname shoul have like a complete armor fusing his soul reaper and hollow elements and give him wings too, sajin too give him a full armor like his bankai, about mayuri it woul've been better for me without make up and with long hair and maybe a less goofy or without a helmet
I think It's a well done list. The only change I would do is I would swap the Sajin and Aizen, but other than that everything is well placed :)
Take Shinji out of A and move to S and move Kenny to B and that's my list.
I am pretty sure the artwork ichigo is ichigo’s beyond Bankai form. He is released with beyond bankai aizen and his look matches that of beyond bankai shinji’s

Idk if it was done based on actually liking their design so, your personal opinion, or actually based on how well designed they are
If it was based on how much you like them, opinion, than i understand and respect it but if it was based on actually how good they are designed this is an L
How is yama, one of the most simple yet best designs of this collaboration in D? Many/few changes don´t instantly make the designs better or worst but general rule a simpler design is better
How is yoruichi in C when that´s a perfect look for her taking in account her place as the head of the shiouen clan and using multiple artifacts from it without being over designing?
How is Tosen in S when he´s over designed and still doesn´t look cool or creepy or anything at all? Still has no clear theme, energy or vibe to him
As much as i love Kenny´s one it´s not very good, just like Tosen it´s over designed, why does he have 2 hairstyles plus blues stripes on it from yachiru´s shikai, why does he have fur on his right arm when he already had the arm yellow to reference yachiru´s shikai, why is he A?
How is urahara B when, just like yama, his design is simple but perfectly represents his character and the origin of his powers?
Toshiro might not be as over designed as Kenny or Tosen but he still is to a certain level why is he S?
There´s also unohana and byakuya being so low when, just like the best designs on the collaboration, they are simple while still having different aspects of their powers perfectly represented, at least those two are only 1 tier below what they should compared to the others that i mentioned that, some should be 2 tiers either high or below

I feel like my only issue with these designs is that they were not consistent like the Alternate Rebirth at least for the non-hollow Captains. If feel like all of them should have fused with their inner spirit, changing the colors they wear, but still a simple clean palette ofc.
Besides that they're still sick as hell and I think besides the lack of skeletons in his gameplay, Genryusai is certainly A or B tier better than Shunsui and Yoruichi. For someone as powerful as him the only possible next step from flaming sword to flames contained inside the sword is becoming the flames himself, a power so raw he needs no weapons but still using the zanjutsu/hakuda/kido style attacks he has mastered.
Mayuri looks hardly any different. He has a very unorthodox design to begin with that changes every ark. And his "beyond bankai" looks like just another regular design. I say this cause it's weird to put Yamamoto as the absolute lowest
I hope KLab does a upgrade of these redesigns like they did for Quincy Ichigo and improves upon these epic designs.
My tier list for these designs:
1. Ichigo is S
2. Byakuya is S
3. Aizen is A because of the detached arms 🤢
4. Yamamoto is A because he was using attacks to explode people out of existence and wearing armor of the sun but his ultimate is a lava pool with two fists
5. Shunsui is B I personally like the design but the gameplay is 💩💩💩
6. Jushiro is S that looks so 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
7. Kisuke is D that big hand is UGLY AF
8. Shinji is B the design is great and gameplay is great but I hate shinji as a character
9. Kenpachi is A they really focused on yachiru for this design and I love it. I just don't have him and he's a nad and I love sad characters
10. Yachiru is A I too think that her design should have included her blood sword and maybe a little more design
11. Soi Fon is A+ Absolutely beautiful design but she is nad and I still prefer sad
12. Yoruichi is B. I am not really a fan of her wearing her royal outfit for a battle beyond bankai form and the design is a little underwhelming for me
13. Toshiro is S-. Absolutely magnificent design minus the fingernails. They look fake (still cool) and his sa1 is just a fking swipe of his ice arm.
14. Kaname is S. Cool demon bug
15. Sajin is B. I love his design. I love his design. I hate his gameplay. Nad and short range 🤢🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢🤮. Plus I had him 15/15/15 max attack and the mobs he's supposed to beat were knocking his dome piece off.
16. Mayuri is F. Get the fuck outta here. You mean to tell me that they can't do better??? The zanpakuto is not even similar to the manga's. Absolute disappointment 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩
