I think this will be my next laptop. It has everything I want from a laptop; relatively thin and light, packs a lot of power, fantastic display, great keyboard and trackpad, nice build quality. I will be moving from Mac and I am aware I shouldn't expect the same build quality from any windows laptop, trackpad and keyboard too. However, I need a strong x86 CPU and some cuda cores now and I think this is the best macbook replacement. I have the i7 16gb varient in my region with 4K 60hz OLED display and I take a 4k screen above any refresh rate any day.

Have been using this laptop since Jan and I have loved it. It has everything I wanted and you forget about the annoying motivational messages. The battery life could be better, but since I work from home its plugged in a lot of the time. First ASUS laptop and definitely wont be the last

Great review! I have a query. I am very much interested in buying this with the Ryzen 9, NVIDIA 3050 specs but some people have told me that the after sales service of Asus is terrible in India. I have also been told that their devices feature faulty parts which lose functioning in months. Can you please guide me on how true these claims can be with regards to this Vivobook? I am confused!

At least you get service. Most companies don't even have service. Asus stores are the most common I've seen among all laptop brands in India
Its a thunderbolt port, not Type C at 3.00 . Can't you not make from the symbol if its Thunderbolt or Type C? Hope you to do proper ground check before sharing. Intel models are with Thunderbolt port and Ryzen models are with Type C port. Your review is more on user experience and not much concentrated towards Tech aspects.

Having more Colors ? Come on the MacBook Pro has been what most creators opt for and that doesn’t even have that many color options as well. Anyways good video, my dell XPS 9560 finally gave up on me and need a replacement, have been looking for one and I find that everything has gotten expensive. Sad life.
MacBooks are a different story. Look, even if the iPhone came in a single color -those who swear by it, will buy it. But in Android, companies come with multiple colors to appeal to a certain group.
That's what i meant.. MacBooks sell because of a different reason.. but windows laptops face competition from other windows laptops and colour choices can give a very slight edge given everything equal

Thanks for sharing! I had this laptop for 5 weeks (the 2.8k version; I5). I sold it last week. Why? The trackpad, thick bezels and plastic feeling all make it feel very very cheap. Battery isn’t a big shot either. I really tried to like this one. The screen was perfect as well as the keyboard, but everything else is mediocre.
Pretty much the issues i highlighted in the video...😅

@@nicolacarey430I bought the MacBook air m1. Cheaper, lighter, faster and the battery runs for ages. By the way, I forgot to mention that with the vivobook - the charging brink was really a huge "brick". Ita heavy and terrible

Macbook air vs Vivobook pro 14 (Ryzen 7 5800H version). Which one would be best for creative workflow? Mainly for 3d animation/modelling/rendering....
I have the Mac mini m1. In my experience the hardware is just as good. Nvidia however has much better drivers that utilize their propriety hardware. They invest a lot of time and money working with most creative programs. I feel confident telling you that unless you are using apples own programs and not Adobe, davinci, blender, photoshop etc then the asus is worth it. Nvidia is definitely faster with its hardware acceleration in benchmark and my own experience.

@@lakkadbagga Not bad... Works fine. And certainly much better than MacBook for 3d purposes. But in other cases like coding/web browsing MacBook might be a better option. Now I am using the laptop for 3 months. It is as fast as the time of purchase. Also some minor bugs are present 🤔 may be some windows bugs or something not sure about it. But faced no problem in work/daily life.
Btw the display is awesome! Best choice for graphic designer/illustrator/artists. Sound quality is also awesome. It has some noise cancelling feature which works fine.
