​@@winniethepoohandeeyore2 Could they even make it federal? On what grounds? So long as the land doesn't cross state borders, it is the state's right to handle the matter as it sees fit. It's a serious breach of federalism to do otherwise, and I would think the states would likely throw an entirely legitimate fit if the feds tried.
I do think that land theft -- or attempted land theft -- should be a serious felony with years of prison time as the sentencing range... something like 5-15, by my preference, and more if it's not a first offense. But it can still be that severely punished and yet handled at the state level. Aside from being an incursion on states' rights if they tried to make it a federal crime, I'm not sure why you really want it to be one. You don't need that in order for it to be severely penalized. If it isn't right now, that's because the state hasn't chosen to, so go get up a petition and tell your state to pass harsher punishments for land theft.

I had so many bad jobs due to co workers or supervisors. HR doesn’t care.
One job, the supervisor had 3 investigations against her. Ppl quit within 3 months. I stayed 1 year, because I had no other options, at that time. She hated me because I stayed there and she constantly did things to me. When I left there was another investigation against her, I wrote 18 pages against her. So that was the 4 th investigation n 4 th time the company was being sued. Did nothing.
No one cares. You need to keep moving on and don’t take it personal. Keep ur head up n keep the faith.

Second to last story, I think the answer sadly simple why SO parents treated him poorly well letting SIL get away with anything, they wanted a daughter.
Sadly some parents when they get the Child Gender they didn't want get a negative view on them but because second try was a Girl they shower Love to that child as she was born the gender they wanted. Think Timmy Turner Parents for example, at there worst before Cosmo and Wanda came in they were neglectful, didn't pay attention and even call Timmy the reason why there dreams were crushed, yet in a wish where Timmy was never there they did get a daughter who was showered with love and fame. SO parents are similar in that way but because the egotist mindset they nurture into SIL they say and do what she want and went there "competition" for attention SO is SIL target which because parents bias to the daughter they always wanted makes SO the parents target.
And to spite that Family I email a Family Friend this story and why your NC and will always be NC, explain the lies and how badly treated SO and you OP were treated and why they can never trust that side of the family again.
They will try doing the song and dance to someone outside the family and see there creditably fall, that family will be shatter, they will never be able to apologies and the SO parents and SIL will have that family of 3 all to themselves. OP and SO will never deal with that half again and that half of the family will be dealing with the problem SO dealt his entire life.
Abuse is not OK and getting people to see the Abuser in that light is the only way it will come to an End.
