The start of the conversion, 6.2 LS and 6 speed transmission from a 2010 Camaro SS to my 86 El Camino. Prior to the video, I removed the engine and transmission. This show the LS3 and 6L80 being installed & Oil pan and dip stick installation.

Hey Steve, thanks for viewing. That video was with the old 350 motor. I took it apart after that. I'm on the drive shaft now and will be uploading a new video shortly on it. Then I will be completing the harness inside, dash and door panels. Stay tuned it's a longer process mainly because my upholstery warehouse is growing.

Awesome video, so what would the going rate be for a headliner to be installed in a 74 nova, , I would have to say you would have to do a bow conversion, cause the original was a big ass 1 piece panel. ....my interior is all complete I just need to do my head liner and I wanted to get an idea at how much it is gonna cost me!!!
First let me apologize for not getting back to you. I am just learning more about the TH-cam. So, I'm very happy to help with anything. If your wanting to revert back to the bow setup the kit will run you about 300 for the rods and a headliner. If you have the full board conversion then a headliner kit with adhesive would be about 90 bucks.

Sounds great! 5.3 or the 6.0 will follow this same route. I appreciate the comment to keep up the videos. I have 7 projects planned for the future. I'm making a new channel for the cars called Rust to Lust. I will be doing a 6.o in my 63 impala 2 dr hardtop candy orange. And a 5.3 in a 56 GMC short bed. I have the for shifter and the 2010 Camaro ss floor shifter I will be using.

Locar will definitely have what you need to change out the linkage. They have adjustable cables and flexible ones too.

@@boss504100 Yes, next one to come out is the driveshaft video. Since I have the camaro ss 6 speeed auto trans. I had a transmission cross-member made and now I need a slip yoke drive shaft with a adapter.

Did you have to remove the factory air to the engine to fit?
I did remove the factory air for now to get it in but I will be going with some mount brackets that will move it to the top of the engine.

Honestly I can't recall. I got it in storage at the moment, I will check for you and take a pic this week. I should be able to get over there by Wednesday.

What did you do for fuel pedal?
I have the drive by wire from the 2010 Camaro Oem harness. It connects directly into my psi harness I bought.

I haven't did any swaps for other people, I run a upholstery supply warehouse and Im only able to work on mine in my spare time. Once i get more workers i should have more time. What vehicle you have?
