- Fate appears to be all-powerful in controlling our lives. However, what we make of life depends on how we respond to Fate. What we meet in life may be destined but how we meet it is totally in our hands. Through the experience that Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba granted to Prof. Raghunath Safaya, we learn the power of surrendering to God in overcoming Karma. It is inspiring to say the least and gives us a direction to put our efforts in.

This video came as an answer to my questions. I have suffered a lot in these past months because I couldn't surrender myself fully to my Krishna and leave my problems to him. I couldn't let go of things. Now I know that he will take care of anything. Be it Shanu or Rahu, or a combination of both, nothing will harm me when I take shelter in my Damodara. Thanks once again for the video. Sai community is doing a great service to the world of spirituality, even to those like me who don't have associations with Puttaparthi

The highest form of devotion is when we put God as our first and the only choice...with the action of surrender, fate becomes ineffective over God's grace...Swami often says, "Anugrahabalam overpowers Grahabalam"...

@@narsingrao4724 yes, it is ultimately His decision..which means if God wills the destiny or fate can be changed....so, one shouldn't rely on fate.. winning God's grace is important ... remember how Markandeya was protected by Lord Shiva from the clutches of death..

Very well explained.Satya Sai baba never told anyone to think him as God.He never forced.My Guru in imagination is different.My guru told me to chant Gayatri so does Satya Sai baba.Gayatri mantra is the ultimate solution for all confusion and problems.My eyes opened when I found Satya Sai himself told all devotees to chant Gayatri without worrying about fate,karma,destiny.
Correct. Swami never forces any name or form on anyone. I am using His name because that is the one dearest to me. You can do the same with any name and God will respond.

Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Late Proff. Raghunath Safaya is my maternal Grandfather ( Nanaji). We were very fond of each other,. he left us for heavenly abode in year 1994 (I was 12). Now I am 38yrs old. Long time back and most precious days of my life with him. I miss him too much and remembers his Story about Sai Baba. he used to share stories to make me sleep when i was kid. I didnt know about such incident and thank you so much for sharing. Please share more.
