- The Chennai Rail Museum is a railway museum in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The museum opened on 16 April 2002 on the premises of the Furnishing Division of the Integral Coach Factory near Villivakkam. Located across 6.25 acres of land, the museum hosts both technical and heritage exhibits, with a sizable collection of steam engines belonging to various decades of the British Raj. Toy train rides are offered around the premises. The museum is open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (last entry 5:30 pm) Tuesday through Friday, and 10:00 am to 9:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. It is closed every Monday and on national holidays. The indoor art gallery has been renovated and is open to the public.
