That bird (duck?) skipping on the water during the closing shot had really great timing 😅 not a lot of things in the background could distract from Hannah in her shots, but that one certainly did!
More Castle of Europe Please . can you make the videos longer and more detailed. I used to watch a show called Great Castles of Europe. its time for a modern and refresh of that. Thanks
Mein 20° Urgroßvater war Johan Friedrich I von Hohenzollern - Elector - Margrave of Brandenburg (1371-1440), then his son Johann the Alchemist. Now... Charlottenburg Palace is on my list of places to see... 🚢
May I ask, when was this filmed? I found it a bit weird that the palace guide mentioned Berlin Palace, its destruction and the GDR Palace of the Republic, but then completely brushed over it being rebuilt for a couple of years now, which is kind of a big deal and worthy of mention. Unless of course this video is several years old and the new Berlin Palace/Humboldt Forum was still in construction. ;)
The most important in Berlin Region is sanssouci palace. You can not split Berlin & Brandenburg in this matter - only politicians can like they split Berlin & Brandenburg 100 years ago for power.
To the Castle Manager/guide wearing a saggy, old black teeshirt (1:10), please give the populist schtick a rest. You're too old and wise for this symbolic silliness.
I visited Berlin several times. I even got to take a shopping trip to East Berlin before the wall came down. I have never forgotten that trip in 86.
I never knew that such a busy city like Berlin had such beautiful tranquil places. Thank you DW for this beautiful travel video ♥
It's got a lot to offer on all counts really.
My favorite host!
Charlottenburg Palace!
Agreed - one of the best in Berlin.
Another great "Reportage" by Hannah and her team. Thanks!
Lovely all three castles, each in its own way. 😍

That bird may be a paid actor 😂
Mine is Charlottenburg Palace 😍

We can certainly do a user survey and see if more people feel the same way you do. Thanks for your feedback!
Berlin has so much to offer the visitor. So many museums and some great green spaces too.
🇵🇹👍🏻💚❤️ Berlin, wunderbar 🇩🇪
What a lovely presenter, you can't help liking her

It's not really a palace anymore though. It's just a museum built on the place where the palace stood. And they replicated the main facade.
My personal favourite is the cute presenter.
First❤
Strange selection. I think Babelsberg Castle and Belvedere Pfingstberg are more beautiful castles in Berlin/Potsdam

Do these short videos also exist in German, so that I can show them also in German to my students?
Unfortunately not, sorry. We produce them only in English.

It’s just a black T-shirt, I don’t understand.
