Kenny WAS The walking dead for me. Him, Clem and Lee. He's one of the only characters from the original group. Even though its just a game, I FEEL like I have met this man before, or a man just like him in real life. He was without a doubt my favorite character of the series and his entire character arc is arguably the best one in the series. Kenny loses EVERYONE in his life, yet still manages to crack a smile or make a joke here and there to brighten peoples moods most of the time and focus on protecting those around him. The moment Kenny died in season 2, my heart broke, I couldn't stop crying, much like Lee's death. I decided to keep him alive to see him in season 3. And when I saw him die again in season 3, a large part of my interest in this series died with him. Not saying there isn't other characters that were kind of cool, and of course Clementine, but to me Kenny was one of the biggest reasons I kept playing this game. With him not around in the final season, it just didn't feel the same like it used to (which i think is the point) I'm really glad they left Kenny easter eggs in season 4 though. R.I.P. Boatgod Kenny, youre one of my favorite characters to come from a video game.

I know a good chunk of fans are polarized by Kenny, or just dislike him outright, since if you don't agree with him on everything, he's kind of an ass to Lee, but honestly, that's more a problem with the game's design and choices system than the actual writing. Even putting that aside, he says it himself. Somebody's gotta make the tough choices. But even he has his breaking points. And he's definitely one of the best characters in the Telltale series. Whenever I replay the series now, I choose the season 2 ending with him sending Clem and AJ into Wellington while he goes back out into the wild, believing he can't protect them, since, at the time, it did seem like the best thing for them. At least that way, he's still out there... Somewhere.

This story is honestly one of the most amazing things I've ever had the privilege to experience, i have nothing negative to say about it. But i wish things weren't the way they ended up and they didn't have to rush to end clems story and had the money and time to flesh it out.

Their reunion with Clementine was different, while Kenny happily welcomes her in and was very happy to see her, Lilly instead held her at gunpoint and threatens to kill her if she doesn't cooperate, her happiness seeing her short-lived.

Kenny might just be one of the greatest characters I’ve ever seen. Such a great example in how living in this walker infested world can change a person, he had everything a lovely family and then it was gone………just like that. For 3 seasons we’ve seen nothing but a loyal, tough, determined man willing to do whatever it takes to protect Clementine and AJ like they were his own family because to him they were. Did Kenny have his negative moments? Sure, but who didn’t? He was a broken and empty husk of a human being who always crawled back out of whatever pit he was in if it meant protecting the people in front of him not killing any walkers behind him, even if it was one little girl and baby boy he protected them like they were his own children cause that’s what a real man should do. Even if it meant either dying alone (new frontier) or being left alone (season 2 Wellington ending). Kenny deserves just as much love and praise as Lee, Kenny is and always will be the guardian Angel of Clementine cause what is he doing in his last moments? making sure she’s gonna be safe. Perfect character telltale you knocked it out of the park with this man I’m tearing up right now writing this, let us never forget one of the Walking Dead legends. Thank you Kenny for everything. 💚

For 3 seasons we’ve seen nothing but a loyal, tough, determined man willing to do whatever it takes to protect Clementine and AJ like they were his own family because to him they were. Did Kenny have his negative moments? Sure, but who didn’t? He was a broken and empty husk of a human being who always crawled back out of whatever pit he was in if it meant protecting the people in front of him not killing any walkers behind him, even if it was one little girl and baby boy he protected them like they were his own children cause that’s what a real man should do. Even if it meant either dying alone (new frontier) or being left alone (season 2 Wellington ending). Kenny deserves just as much love and praise as Lee, Kenny is and always will be the guardian Angel of Clementine cause what is he doing in his last moments? making sure she’s gonna be safe. Perfect character telltale you knocked it out of the park with this man I’m tearing up right now writing this, let us never forget one of the Walking Dead legends. Thank you Kenny for everything. 💚
