Just for info :- sometimes on Honda cars if the oil has not been reset after service it will NOT do passive regens & then eventually the DPF blocks ALSO - if the oil level is too HIGH it will not regenerate & block DPF If the car is used for short journey & the oil is diluted (level too high) it will not regenerate These honda's seem VERY picky about the oil & either put up the DPF light on the dash or go into limited performance because of the oil problems 👍👍

@@Nemesisx1974x it was a forced regen static not dynamic ie moving to cool with moving car through the air that is why luis tried a dynamic regen first and didnt like the static regen as car have been known to catch fire i always have a hose or fire extinguisher to hand when doing a regen
I think it took 40mins due to how clogged it was.. Mine usually takes 20 to 25 mins to do. They must have been driving it with the clogged dpf for a while and not being able to do a regen. Plus the aircon system needs to be working ok.
Hi there got a Honda CR-V idtec got it tested Monday then on way home go into limp comes up with p2002. Low threshold bank 1 I have done cars since 17 now 75 I put a engine in this out off all my stuff is on this no pump every thing this motor runs lovely until u give it a foot ful l then gos into limp mode I think the ecu thinks it want aregen but it’s had it cleaned and this motor as only done 56thou it run lovely at 43mph in limp mode delete the code and runs lovely a bit stuck I have got xtool. Computer but cannot use very well so a bit lost I was doing this all last yr
I believe that code is DPF related... Might be getting clogged, and needs cleaning or replacing... Obviously, consider a bad pressure sensor, you need to test things first... 👍👍👍
Hi got a 59 accord 2.2 diesel with a dpf fault it seems to come on about every 6 months took to honda Dealer changed oil and said it was the way i was driving 6 months later same thing they did an auto regen and blameded my driving this has has happened another 2 times ive done lots of "motorway driving" to clear but still happen currently driving with fault anybody can give advice thanks
Hi iam Aaed from Iraq . i have a problem with my passat 2,5 litter 2012 the engine suddenly stopped.it was checked with more than scanner device and there was no errors and i checked all wires,fuse,relay and the wire of ecm signal and they are good, the fuel pump good , and when I switch ignition on the fuel pump not operating, but the can can cranking when I trying to start engin , also i operat the fuel pump with scantool one time and when i try to repeat this action a message will appear ( the conditions not met ) , also i checked the connection inside the ecm ,,, my question is that issue in ecm software
Sometimes on VAG cars you can only do actuations once.. to repeat, you need to come out from the controller and go in again... normal behaviour... Check live data... your answer most likely will be there... 👍👍👍
Idiot's driving a diesel on low fuel that's the first issue these Honda's also won't re gen if oil is high oil service is due and AC not working another common issue is abs sensors throwing up lots of unrelated code's.

regen is a normal thing to do .i f it melted the heat shield then there's some thing Drastically wrong lol

Never heard of the air con needed to be working for a regen to take place...

To add to this they don't show as fault codes oil too full AC fault and oil service due all stop passive re gens on these Honda's
