First of all thank you for the compliment means a lot, and secondly It's not like I hate the idea of being one its just I like other things and I really don't wanna narrow myself to one thing; But no matter what Silent Hill will always have a place on the channel.

I’m very shocked that starting over with a second channel turned out extremely well. I think you have a lot of potential. I can help you if you’re interested. Either way, keep up the good content. "It didnt need a remake!" Like did people want the game to stay trapped forgotten on the PS2 outside of the HD collection on PS3??? Is that why those hyperbolic fans tell new gamer's that wanna try SH2, that the best way to play is to emulate it with an extensive mod pack that damn near overhauls the base game??? All that and "it didnt need a remake!?!?!"
Even if they don't 100% like the remake, it's coming to PC, why the fk wouldn't they want a SH 1, 3, & 4 to at the very least mod if we are already modding the PS2 version? And this is a UE5 game, so its going to be easy af to mod! People are goofy.
Hell after 1, 3, & 4 I would love to see Bloober take a crack at remaking Down Pour, I always thought that game had promise but was rushed in development and felt rushed to play.
Regarding Mary/Maria thing you're talking about, we must remember that graphics are so realistic now, that faces would really "look/behave" like in real life: you know how in videos or photos we sometimes look different/ugly? The same is happening with Mary/Maria (we're seeing Mary on a fuzzy VHS tape).Besides, you know how women can look radically different with/without make up. And Maria has very different haircut,hair color, clothes, body language than Mary, as we can see.
Btw the game takes place in the 70's. That's why there is a cassette player or VHS or whatever it is.
Lol! We had VHS and Cassette Tapes in the 90’s. DVD’s came out in late 1996.

i never liked OG games because of the controls. i tried re5 and re4 but never finished them because i couldn’t get used to how those games worked. after re4 remake i’ve grown to love remakes. i’ve only been gaming since 2020, which isn’t a long time. so seeing silent hill get a remake has made me so happy. i’ve watched the gameplay of the OG but never played it. i’m excited to finally be able to play this game. it’s going to be great!

This isn’t even a “remake” it’s a “revision”, these old games never needed “remakes” just remasters, and the acting sounds extremely stale and bland, if you wanna waste your money go ahead
They’re adding content to the game they didn’t have time for in the OG. They’ve fixed up the graphics and repaired plot holes. They repaired the combat system and rebuilt boss fights from the bottom up.
