    Raise our BAH. Raise our BAH. Raise our BAH. There are too many people, too little of houses on such a small area. RAISE OUR BAH.

    • @richardchristian4901
      @richardchristian4901 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      For the civilians out there reading this BAH is Basic Allowance Housing. It is a way the government helps the military afford housing on there pay. Which is usually more then than civilian pay but we are not moved into a area with a lot of people and not much housing. In the last two years the surrounding area has seen the cost of housing to buy or rent raise a lot. Being a hardship for the military.

    Home on and off for 4 yrs, 1960 thru 1964, VAH-4 A3D, made 3 westpac cruises, great duty for ordnance men, special weapons mostly, if you didn’t like Oak Harbor it was a long drive if you were chasing the honeys!

    Went out there in the late 90’s on a field team from Cherry Point. What a cool place and one of the most beautiful place I have ever seen.

    Second comment here. I find it even more "interesting" that I happen to live in the KPAE "noise zone", and KPAE is a frequent practice field for NAS Whidbey. The F18's are definitely LOUD, and when they make a circuit of touch and goes it can be annoying. The difference is that KPAE is a civilian facility, surrounded by residential areas. The people on Whidbey knew right up front that the Navy was already there, but at KPAE you're expecting a lot of Boeing jets, a few commercial flights, and a lot of general aviation. My request to the Navy, since you seem to want it, is to be considerate when you use KPAE and avoid early AM/Late PM ops. You can run the P3's and P8's 24/7 and nobody will really care.

    Anyone know what the prop airplanes where at the beginning of the video? We moved here in 1960 and Dad retired in 1962. I can only remember the A6 aircraft, the p3 sub hunters and for a short time the sea planes. Now they have the Growlers and Orion. I miss the open House that the base use to give. But understand why it was discontinued. They have a static display of two A6 on the corner of State Route 20 and Ault Field Road. Before hey built that display there was a little sign that read " Pardon our noise it's the sound of freedom!" I loved that sign.

    VERY well done video. Whidbey - and Oak Harbor - is one of my favorite places, and the NAS has traditionally be among the finest of Master Jet Air Stations, and coming across the Deception Pass Bridge is always like coming home. I hope tie CEC folks are working hard to ensure the viability of Whidbey as mean global all sea level rises.

    This evening about 7.10pm July 6 2022, a plane flew overhead MUCH too close to our community in La Conner. The sound was frightening. Surely they have regulations preventing that sort of low-flying disturbance? And frankly, every day - and evening - we can hear multiple planes flying around, though that one tonight was really much too low. Did we expect this when we moved here to La Conner? You bet we didn't and you'd be right.

    Interesting that "suddenly" I'm getting lots of vids on NAS Whidbey on my feed. Could it have anything to do with Navy PR and the current controversy over noise at the short carrier strip. Yes, I think it's probably not a coincidence.

    • @richardchristian4901
      @richardchristian4901 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it has to do with Algorithms. If you saw a Whidbey Island Video a few time then TH-cam will send you more and more videos in the thought you are interested. I noticed it when started looking at aircraft and military equipment. Then I saw a C130J landing on the base! Wow it came in from the east and showed Mt. Baker and then saw it coming over the Highway at the Farmers Market and landing on the runway.

    All my life doing the 9-6, I still haven’t been paid like now. I invested in the stock and Forex market the proper way. Surprisingly I’m getting payouts than my monthly salary.

      Facts, all my life I stressed my brain doing the 9-6 trying to survive through the struggles of life and having to face my boss, I still haven’t made my worth and I feel like life cheated on me but that is about to change because I believe life gave me another chance by leading me here... this is because I’ve always had the interest of investing in the stock and Forex markets but never knew how to go about it. Could you please tell me how to make passive incomes too, could you elaborate on what you are saying I am interested.

      I have been able to make lucrative and significant figures doing my trades with a binary options expert I came across reviews about his good works on TH-cam. He is now my broker more like my investor manager, Mr. Hamilton, he handles my trades and he generates profits on my behalf while I still learn under his guidance, now I’m planning on exploring some ETF’s and bonds under his charge. He has greatly impacted my life financially, I still remember my first payoff $10000 in a space of a week and three days I was very amazed. So I’ve got into investments with him and now with his help I have financially secured a new home for regular payoffs

      Who would have thought the Forex or stocks market could be beneficial to me ever since Mr. Hamilton started handling all my trades. I registered and funded my account with $1000 last four months and now I have been able to raise up some money to startup my dream job. Hamilton is truly an excellent broker/trader, he is the perfect combination of experience, skills and expertise... He works with me as a client financially, mentally and emotionally. I love his services because he has always been there for me.
