I searched Cromer detecting as we are there for a week end of August. I knew I was in good honest hands when I saw it was one of your videos. Cant say you have sold it to me, but maybe you have thrown down a challenge for me to beat 5p. Any tips for things to visit in the area. Thanks for all your vids, I always watch.

Mundesley is a nice beach to detect, you could park up at the gun emplacement for free and have a little look around that while you're there 👍. Just got back from detecting Cromer and i think this has been my worst beach so far for small bits of aluminum. I also made the mistake of going up the steps back to the car park instead of the zig zag slope. When i got to the top i think i was close to a heart attack.
Hope you had a good day though mate, but yes, I certainly won't be detecting it again lol, way too much aluminium for my liking. Definitely worth using the ramp next time mate lol 😆. I've had some good luck on the beaches lately with rings and things. Can be hit or miss but determination sometimes pays off. The machine is very quiet on the beach sometimes I have to check it's still in lol. Well done on the finds, until the next one take care stay safe. John

I feel a little better about my lack of exciting finds now that you've experienced a beach hunt. When I'm on the beach with a lot of aluminum, I switch to 6 tones so it's easier to ignore most of the trash targets. Also, changing the stability can help if you are just overwhelmed with trashy targets. There's practically no way to avoid the bottle caps...they are all over the spectrum.
Yes not one of my best days for finds mate, but we certainly had a good time 👍. I was in 6 tone, as that's my go to setting but I'm currently now using 60tone and quite like it. To be fair, other than the ally, it's was quite a clean beach and I was surprised at the lack of bottle caps lol 😆. Thank you for watching mate 👍
Who cares you don't find that much when you are on cromer beach!? My favourite bit of England coast and can't wait to be back in East Runton in July. Have you ever sought permission around there and Felbrigg as there is so much countryside and farmers fields?

Take a look online at crown estate beaches mate, anything in purple can be detecting as long as its not protected or nature reserved 👍
