- The 2023 Chicago Marathon was only the second marathon I've ran in my life, but also the second marathon I've ran in 6 months. The goal was to hang on, have fun, and push myself as hard as I could on the given day. But how did it go for this novice runner?

Great to watch your video and be reminded of certain places on the course that I mostly didn't take in as it took every ounce of energy to just stay in the race. But 5:04 was one of my favorite places...I think there were a couple spots like this?? Where the trees connected over the street. So neat. Loved meeting you Chris!! When you told me your daughter knew me from YT I thought that was super cool. I hope she is inspired by her daddy and all the female athletes she sees to go after whatever she wants!!
