10 days in post 2002 race and I caught myself watching this again. It adds so much meaning to the footage now. Thank you so much for letting us relive the race.
Thanks for posting this. Brings back a lot of mostly good memories. (And thanks for saying when you had to go off course). I think they do a terrific job of organizing this race, and it really does showcase the beautiful chicago area quite well.
@@MichaelMansfieldTri Injuries permitting, me too. Weather has been good here in Chicago up till now, let's hope it carries over into race day. Last year was pretty warm. I hope you have a wonderful race!
Also, this year's course makes a left on 26th street immediately after Chinatown and then you go south on Michigan Ave before looping back north, so you're east of I-90 instead of west it
Maybe next time make a video when the streets are closed off and you can make the proper route video - instead of going off route and messing those of us who will be running it. btw... hope ya enjoy the marathon.... either ya love it or hate it..no inbetween!

That’s actually last year’s course. The detour shown going around on wacker instead of down Franklin is correct for this year.

no medium or small hills either. There is a slight kicker with half a mile left to go, but nothing to be concerned about.
