i'm 18 and i have 5 years of undiagnosed mental health illness and my life is getting worse and worse. My friends and family are saying i'm a danger to people and myself and now i dont have no one to talk to and no one to see.
This song hits every thought that I have had and unfortunately I am getting again. I keep coming back to this song because it helped last time; but depressiom is a demon. It'll dissipate and come back stronger; it is dsheartening. Reading all the comments shows me just because we are going through some shit, there are people who have been there or are currently experiencing it; most importantly; it shows we are fighters and will continue to fight; even if it's with ourselves. This song was dedicated to me from a friend I made during a tough time in my life. I thank her so much for this and when I'm depressed, first song I go to. Was very close to ending it all and making my boys suffer dearly. Her words spoken when she told me to listen to song has helped me out so damn much, I'm forever in her debt for saving my life and the pain she saved my boys from losing me. Not enough words or actions can repay her.

This song speaks to me(and many, MANY others) a lot.. Depression hits a lot of the worlds population pretty hard, and some worse than others, but all we can do is try and fight it. It's hard to seek help for many people (myself included), but songs like this help to pick us up a bit, and make us feel in a small way that we aren't alone..

Hang in there buddy. Ive had a very tough 2019 so far. Between almost losing my wife because she told me she doesn't love me anymore. I definitely feel broken and like I'm not worth the effort of trying to be fixed. I deal with depression myself and I think it's a genetic or something. My brother was dealing with depression that no medication seemed to touch and one day I get a call from my mother that he shot himself and that was so painful not only for me but to see my mom and my oldest brother go thru heartbreak. My mom has never been the same. My brother felt broken and we didn't see it. If you ever feel broken just please talk to someone about it and find someone who cares and will listen because not everyone will care or listen and it could be discouraging but keep trying.
