Saw him with Ringo a few months back and it was such a treat. I think Colin was my favorite act in the entire group. He still sounds fantastic and such a great, easygoing guy.
Yes, a dream came true. I'm not from Scotland, not from Australia, abut I always loved the Beatles and and as Men at Wort apeared I did and do love them or what is left of them, unfortunately Greg Ham has passed and John and George....sigh. But then aain, good to see Ringo and Colin Hay together! :-)
Phil Anderton , you just gotta love Ringo he's one of those guy's with personality to spare..I've been listening to Colin doing a lot of acoustic versions of some of M.A.W biggest hits. I was so heavy into playing and digging blues rock. I badly underestimated Colin back in the day but he's a certified badass musician in my book..
I love how Ringo can step back and let others shine, whilst always being the heartbeat of the music. Really great to hear Colin in such good voice and humour.
Men At Work is such an under appreciated band. Business As Usual and Cargo are complete classics and some of the great rock albums there is. Colin Hay is such a fantastic vocalist and Men At Work is amazing.
Lucky enough to have worked security at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles at this show. Got to say hello to Colin Hay during rehearsals and found him to be a real sweet guy...Just loved Men At Work during their early 80's coming out party!
The first record that I bought. In the early 80s. He signed it for me when I met him a few years back here in Edmonton, Canada. With some 35 years delay!! Ha!!!
One of the most recognizable voices in all of rock -- Colin Hay (Men at Work). He's always been great even throughout his solo career. Entertaining, great stage patter and sharp with his musical showcase. Ringo always manages to get the very best with his All-Starr Band.
Keyboards, THE Edgar Winter? I was blown away! The version I've heard the most, I thought the flute player was Superb, only to see the wizard playing his MAGIC on the keyboard, carrying us all away!!
Had the pleasure of seeing and meeting Colin at a small theatre in NYC a few years back doing an acoustic set and was literally one of the best concerts I have been to. 😊
Saw Ringo and the All Star Band this past September. What a treat to see Colin Hay. He still got those pipes! I hadn't seen Hamish Stewart in 30 years when he was with Paul McCartney (Flowers in the Dirt and Off the Ground).
Genial Colin Hay, conserva una estupenda voz... Edgar Winter magnifico en ese solo... Gracias siempre a Mr. Ringo Starr por reunir a estos increibles grupos de All Starr Band...
@@1colony A good drummer isn't one who does all the fancy crap, a good drummer is one who compliments the song without distracting from it. Ringo may not be the best drummer in the world, but he's good drummer none the less!
Colin Hay, and several Superstar, brilliant voices and musicians, played at the Benefit on Jan5 this year, at the Canyon Club, Valencia. The fundraiser was families & victims of our Saugus Highschool shootings last November. It was an unexpected heart-lifting experience by ALL all these great musicians- jaw dropping names, all!!! Thankyou to Colin Hay, and the STARSTUDDED, good folks that put together an uplifting way to donate. Even today, we have the November memories.
I loved the video back in 1982 of Down Under by Men at Work and I'm thrilled to see Ringo Star on drums and the lead singer from down under.👍🇦🇺😁🇺🇲🏴🎸☮️
A Land Down Remixes bought me here. I am from the UK and this to me IS THE Australian Anthem. Best 80s Single, no question. And these Live performances are just incredible. Thanks for the song.
I've loved this and Men At Work as soon as they arrived. I'm a Kiwi from NZ next door to Oz. I love it every time Simon "The Wizard" Whitlock, the Aussie darts player walks out to this on the world stage and the crowds love it!
Colin has one of those smiles where it just doesn't matter what happens to his face as he ages (he's still really good looking), he'll always be beautiful for it.
Back in action everybody plizzzzzz, let this EPIC performance happen again & REPLAY event, sing along some more everybody & never let any evil dare to harm you guys
Ringo is Peter Pan! What a great performance from Colin, remember super groups, this is the ultimate one, such a collection of talent, old Geezers who just love to play Rock n Roll!
I never sent us to my man, an Aussie, because he and I are the song! I am the strange lady that took him in for the night and gave him breakfast! We have kept it up now 17 years!
I always love seeing these artists perform as part of the All Starr Band. They're singing, and all they have to do is look over their shoulder, and nine times out of ten, there's a fucking Beatle banging on the drums right behind them! Talk about stage fright. He played on the Ed Sullivan Show, at Shea Stadium, at Budokan... 😆 😆
Out of a lot of rockstars Colin Hay has to be one of the most underrated, the guy still sounds unbelievable and seems like a delightful soul
Saw him in 2017 & 2020, his voice and acoustic guitar work are both impeccable live!
Saw him with Ringo a few months back and it was such a treat. I think Colin was my favorite act in the entire group. He still sounds fantastic and such a great, easygoing guy.
I totally agree with you there, even though you have such a strange avatar...🙄
Well said.......

I was an Aussie Beatle fan from 1963. I just love seeing a Beatle playing in “DownUnder”. Thank you Ringo, thank you Colin.

Ringo knows what’s he’s doing! Loaded the band with top musicians, sounds great!!
Ringo Starr and his all starr band never disappoint

Never count out older musicians they can still throw down it's in their DNA 🔥
Another great Aussie musician, Colin Hay. Men At Work's 1st album is a timeless masterpiece!
Scottish 🏴
Correction: Scottish

Whaaaaat???? Toto was behind them... Please do some research before you comment...
@@rinocepeda3137 What do you mean Toto was behind them? I can't find evidence of anyone from Toto having any involvement with Men At Work.

Colin you sound better than ever. I bought the first "Men at Work" album when it was first released. Still have it to this day.

I saw him at an outdoor concert in Richmond, Va. several yrs. ago. Very nice guy and great concert 👏👏👏
Down Under is always fun to hear. Seeing Edgar Winter on keys is truly mind blowing. He does a nice tribute to Greg Ham's flute solo.
Ageless song! Still great after all these years. Just like Colin.
This guy is just brilliant. Got my feet tapping out of control now !!!!

Colin really should get consideration for the rock and roll hall of fame if he has not already
Why? He had one hit, and part of that was plagiarised.

love Ringo the dude knows how to rock
Yeah, kid's got a future
On all those All Stars clips, notice how supple and fluent Ringo's wrists are. Not the greatest drummer (that's Keith Moon) , but a natural.
Love ya Colin. 🥰🤣❤️🙏🇦🇺 And the Aussies are up and rockin’
I've really come to admire Colin Hay this past year or so. Smart, talented, and a hell of a sense of humor.
2 drummers... playing in time!

Great pitch.
How did I miss this tour...??? But I did see Edgar Winter a couple years ago... fabulous!!!!
Ringo's choice of friends to play with him was always right on the money. I saw the All Starrs twice in concert and enjoyed both concerts.
I seen them twice as well and will go see them again.
