seriously, what exactly is the point of this video. It just looks like a summary of the initial ride videos of each of these bikes which came out at their respective launch time. Where is any useful insights based on the side by side comparison?
I would say that the comparison isn't correctly done. Triumph 400 + Hunter 350 + Honda highness RS 350 would have been the better comparison. And on the other hand Honda highness CB350 + RE classic + Harley 440 would have been the better comparison.
own interceptor for 4 years. clocked only 21k km and put dent in pocket every 3 months for replacing different spare parts including chain sprocket, fuel injector, gear sensor, throttle cable etc.
This is kinda unfair to the x440, its a first gen product give it some time to breathe in the market. HD x440 look bit unfinished so did other products when they were first introduced. Also the nature of the bike caters to a different kind of riders. if this comparison was between the Meteor 350, H'ness 350 and X440 it would be a fair comparison.

The WhatsApp messages are your typical brand texts and updates. I booked at launch but deferred my purchase for a bit because of the horrid Mumbai rains.
My speed 400 is a beauty, every one say don't buy the first few series but can't resist the temptations got myself one and it's the best decision, it's buttery smooth, pulls like a bull with even a pillion rider, timeless design no complaint at all only thing bothering me is finding the neutral and the led could have been a little bit brighter, hopefully in long-term I don't get any issues with the bike and after sales service.Can't wait for the accessories to arrive on the market to make my "Dhanno" extra personalise.
As per Indian govt norms lumen of headlight should be 3000lm that is why we feel headlight not brighter. It's the same for highness too. We need to install fog light to see roads clearly 😅.
@@iampranav100 till now I haven't able to use 6th gear (haven't cross the 1000 km mark till now), my highway use is 35%-40% and city is 60%-65%. So 30kmpl is my average if you ride majorly in city then 27 to 29 would be your average.

Seems like all Moto journalists have purposely blocked CB 350 and wants to not give any coverage even though it’s a good bike compared to classic and not sure what’s the reason behind this common behaviour.. and good to know riders are independent on their decision to choose CB 350 and the Zen factor is almost non existent in the new J series engine..
The verdict doesn't make sense because if it was a 650 the pricing and maintenance cost would be in different ball park and not at par with the rest of the competition

I just booked teh harley, after the test ride I must say I loved the thick red vivid variant and in person it does look better than in images. Overall the crusing was very easy and handling was smooth where I never felt the weight of the vehicle and the exhaust of harley was on the mark. dissapoted that it would take 5-7 months for the delivery. But I am excited to be part of the HOG community.

First of a all a high revving, short stroke, high compression bike like Triumph 400 should never be compared with these other two. And while so much praise is showered on the classic, there's not even a passing mention of the cb350 which is the right comparison for the Harley and RE. Relaxed, long stroke and low compression cruiser with zero vibrations. But this is the level of bias shown by seasoned and reputed auto journalists of this channel. Cb350 never shows its weight of 181kg anywhere, be it in traffic or highway. The stance is great for the city and excellent for the highways, even mileage is better than all 3 of these bikes here. It's just 5kg heavier than the speed 400, has more torque than RE and at a lesser rpm, has much better fit and finish than the Harley at a lesser price and now has a better service network than both the Triumph and the Harley. It is in fact the best balance of weight, turning radius, comfort of large wheels, fuel economy, fit and finish, engine refinement, reliability and service cost and network. The only place RE beats it is in a much larger service network. It's equally competitive in pricing therefore offering a much better value for money and brand appeal. Yet there is this apparent apartheid on His H'ness. 🙏
100% agree. There is a reason why they are praising Royal Enfield. Money. Observe carefully, Zigwheels, Motorbeam, Motorinc and Powerdrift are completely sold out channels. They will never encourage Honda. Such a disgrace that the channels whom we used to trust most are now mercenaries.

Harley Showroom saying that this was the pre production model, and the production model will have a better built quality, buttons and even the wires will also be better managed. Any idea how much of that will be true, or we need to wait till they reach showrooms
I doubt it will be any different. Production model is usually launched with pricing, essentially what you see is what you get. If they are changing then it's purely based on reviews

Test drove a couple of RE the other day. If you want a heavy bike with average acceleration to ride long distances, go for it. They are for sleepy people who don't want real excitement at their finger tips.
Elephants are behemoths... 😄 I too ride an elephant with a 350 CC heart. Wish it had a bit more grunt, but any ordinary day, the high gear low speed chugging without any need to downshift is actually a good feel. Potholes and plastic speed humps on city roads...? One doesn't need to bother. Happy riding dear... 🙏🏼
The thing with Royal Enfield is that if someone wants to buy a Royal Enfield they look at which Royal Enfield to buy not what the competition is or what they have to offer. I ride an Indian Scout yet I wana buy a Royal Enfield and see what's it's about. It's like when someone wants to buy a Harley Davidson, they look which Harley they should buy not what the competition has to offer.

Simple answer pick a honda 350 or re, if youre fan boy of re. Rest are kinda bs in the segment, great comparison putting the Speed 400, right here, that would be a fair comparison. Duke 390 is on next level anyway, not a difficult choice to make!
No mention about service centers, nothing about service costs, service interval, nothing on headlight performance, which has expensive parts, standard tyres each bike come with, value for money comparison, feature comparison, fuel tank capacity of each bike, pillion comfort, braking performance, etc... Overall this comparison felt like first ride review of eacc bikes
ask any RE owner who owned other brand before. they will say same story. frequent parts replacement, visit to garage etc. it is said that to own RE you need to have lot of time for maintenance and learn some basic repairing.
RE has worst quality cycle parts and electronics parts. worst than any other brand one can own in India. RE is like a cheater brand considering what it gives to customers in return of money. people fall for classic looks and heavy metal bike but then realize parts quality totally pathetic.

Harley Showroom saying that this was the pre production model, and the production model will have a better built quality, buttons and even the wires will also be better managed. Any idea how much of that will be true, or we need to wait till they reach showrooms
I doubt it will be any different. Production model is usually launched with pricing, essentially what you see is what you get. If they are changing then it's purely based on reviews

Test drove a couple of RE the other day. If you want a heavy bike with average acceleration to ride long distances, go for it. They are for sleepy people who don't want real excitement at their finger tips.
Have you ever filled battery indicator issues in TRIUMPH 400? like fuel battery indicator was showing same display before and after filling the fuel

I too ride an elephant with a 350 CC heart. Wish it had a bit more grunt, but any ordinary day, the high gear low speed chugging without any need to downshift is actually a good feel.
Potholes and plastic speed humps on city roads...? One doesn't need to bother.

The thing with Royal Enfield is that if someone wants to buy a Royal Enfield they look at which Royal Enfield to buy not what the competition is or what they have to offer. I ride an Indian Scout yet I wana buy a Royal Enfield and see what's it's about. It's like when someone wants to buy a Harley Davidson, they look which Harley they should buy not what the competition has to offer.

The Classic was already far superior to these bikes in terms of feel, ride and appeal.
@zigwheels pure inclination towards RE , giving true comparison and including all brands is expected.. but in all videos, RE seems to be your only choice, sort of a biased video must include Honda and other brands

ask any RE owner who owned other brand before. they will say same story. frequent parts replacement, visit to garage etc. it is said that to own RE you need to have lot of time for maintenance and learn some basic repairing.
RE has worst quality cycle parts and electronics parts. worst than any other brand one can own in India. RE is like a cheater brand considering what it gives to customers in return of money. people fall for classic looks and heavy metal bike but then realize parts quality totally pathetic.
