I was really hoping that you were going to show how you installed the carburetor. When I bought my raider back in January it came with a brand new weber carb and fuel reg. So installing the new carb is my next project on it
Im going to do this to my 88, it actually runs good, it didn't when I first got it but a little water in a spray bottle whilst running at op temp and it started getting better and better but those vac lines its like a spaghetti fest...
Take a Mikuni off a 78-83 Dodge challenger/Plymouth Saparo. Best carb for that engine ever. Been running it on my Saparo race car for years. This engine has many possibilities. Including motorcycle carbs. th-cam.com/video/gFunG5Ku-fI/w-d-xo.html
Hey Rob, Thanks for the video! I'm sort of a novice at this stuff but I'm actually in the process of figuring out how to adjust the throttle using the same spring/attachment (in the orange accordion casing). Just in case I've ordered the weber throttle linkage kit as another possible solution. Do you have any tips in regards to adjusting the throttle cable on the existing connection? As it stands now the position that throttle is in makes the car idle pretty high when in park/neutral. So much so, I find my self have to pop the trunk and adjust it 60% of the time to keep the car from dieseling upon shut off...
