This is type of video I enjoy watching. There nothing more entertaining watching someone talk about there memories. For me my uncle was few older then me and was into Star Wars so he brought me my first GIJoe figure in Kmart and it was breaker and he was disappointed that picked a soldier with no gun so few days later he got me rock and roll and that how I got started on my plastic addiction. My friend Nathan and I played joe a lot and parents made sure we never doubled up on vehicles but Nathan loved to incorporate other toy lines into battles like transformers I wasn’t fan of this. But it make for good memories. Anyway, thank you for sharing your memories I really enjoyed it thank you
@@Pegwarmers My uncle had bunch of Star Wars toys and when he offered to buy me I had zero interest but what captures my interest was action man (GIJoe). But I dint care breaker dint come with gun I could share my other figures. Anyway I do lov hearing stories about people experiences with toy line
excellent episode I love this kind of stuff. It's a whole other side of collecting that doesn't get explored too often. Keep it coming specially G.I. Joe. always room for more Joe. Yo Joe!!!
That slick Rick sliding in for the steal on poor little Kevin. 😅 Fun stuff. Much of my vintage MotU were from yard sales (especially the 82-83 stuff when I was still a toddler).
Great stories. It's always fun to listen to someone else's experiences and see the parallels in your own childhood. It helps unlock some of my own memories. It helps remind me why I still collect and why it means so much. Thanks for sharing!
When my cousin got his Flagg it broke my heart. I knew he wasn’t a true Gijoe fan the way I was. I remember every time I’d walk by it I would try not to even look at it. It was something I’d NEVER have because of the price
Good episode. I think we all have at least one story where we wish we could go back and get that elusive figure at a yard sale. For me, it was a Steel Brigade v1 figure for only 50 cents.
The first time I went to the US, my parents took me to Toys R Us and said I could pick anything I wanted. I was so worried I couldn't fit some big on the flight back I picked a small transformer. While both my folks kept trying to get me to pick something bigger and upgrade me to Skylynx. Anyway I only got the small toy. And it turned out they wanted to treat me before telling me they were getting divorced! Nice 👍

Breaker's headset is great, but it is funny they didn't tool up a sidearm for Breaker, Hawk, and Clutch.

I had a lot of early MOTU stuff from yardsales also.
@0:48 "...and it's my cousin Ray"
I thought it was "Rick"?
Oh, we still play the "Pick-Up-Sticks" and some card games up to this day.
I don't have a cousin Ray. Did I cut it too tight?
Really love this super intimate episode, id love to be your guest if you ever talk Valor vs Venom. Much love brother
We could probably make that happen.
Great episode. I like it. Good stories.
Thanks!

That can be hard, but I always enjoyed playing with stuff other kids had that I didn't.

Yeah, I'm sure.

Thanks for chiming in.
Good memories. Saludos desde Venezuela.
Thanks!
Great episode. I wish my interactions with my cousins and my toys were as positive. But you can’t win them all!
