    I do really enjoy all of your videos and the endless enthusiasm you have but I have to say that Dubai personifies all the soulless aspects of our modern world. I can't wait to see you enjoying Asia, here's a tip from me, visit The Philippines, a beautiful country with wonderful people and not ruined by tourism :)

    I am so excited to see your middle eastern and Asian adventure! My family and I watch your videos as a way of seeing new parts of the world. One thing we would love is to hear the people speak in the regions you visit. Hearing the way they use language and the accents are such a part of knowing a place. Your stuff is awesome as it is, so no pressure to change anything. Just food for thought.

    I lived in Dubai for a total of 9 years, riding a bike all the time. You really do need to keep your wits about you because of the terrible standard of driving and the sheer volume of traffic. I’m now back in the UK, where the Derbyshire Peak District provides a much better lifestyle and the riding is much more fun. 😀

      @@FreddieDobbs it actually depends on where you want to eat- pricesoften depend on the brand and location, you can easily find a lot of great restaurants ( especially Asian) where the food is excellent and the price relatively cheap. Remember, Dubai has loads of migrant workers , most of whom are not well paid, so there are thousands of restaurants who cater to this population and the Asian Middle class.

    It nice to actually see Dubai. I've only ever had stop overs there for a few hour's and never left the airport.

Well worth a visit if you ever get the time. 👍

    5:40 I stayed for 8 nights at the Hilton on Jumeiah Beach from 3-11 September,2022. Great hotel in a fantastic location. There are also cheap fastfood takeaways in the same area MacDonald's,Burger King, and KFC,etc. We used the metro everywhere instead of taxis. It took less than 30 minutes to get to the Burj Khalia on the metro. So much cheaper and no hassle with traffic. I would definitely go to that area again.

    While you're there, you need to check our Café Rider... It's very close to where you are staying, a cafe restaurant, custom cafe racer workshop, urban rider style shop... It's in Al Barsha... Also Triumph, Moto Guzzi and Enfield dealers in that area. BTW, roads are so aggressive and driving so bad, bikers tend to ride for leisure only, and head out away from the city and into the desert...
    Loads of Royal Enfield bikes around due to the big Indian population.

I to like the Dodge Challengers, had one in High School, and bought one in 2016. Recently subscribed because of British bike content, we are planning a trip to London. Planning on visiting Bike Shed and Ace Cafe then my wife forcing me to Corrie fan tour in Manchester. Love the channel.

    Nice to see Dubai is doing its bit to save the world. What with all the huge cars and laser lights etc.
    I like cars as much as the next man, but driving around in big V8s, V10s and V12s is bonkers when the average speed you can muster is walking pace. Your little Fiat is much better suited to Dubai than any of those cars ( providing the air-con was working, that is )
    As you can, probably, tell. Dubai is not the place for me. However, I do love your enthusiasm for everywhere you go. Looking forward to see how Dubai pans out for you and Monica.

    Its the morals and ethics of these sort of places that get me.
    The way the locals treat migrant workers et al.
    I used to have cigarette breaks hanging out with a Bangladeshi and a Nepalese doorman at a 6 star hotel. They enjoyed my company, and me likewise theirs, but the rude manners and arrogance of ùber rich locals coming and going inc their kids with 5k Ferrari branded wristwatches etc really bugged me. The obscene wealth can be soul destroying for what this world has become.

    My brother was living in Delhi and he said driving out there was difficult because there are so many lanes on the motorways and everybody has a job even for the simplest things plus he was handling hundreds of thousands because no one deals in banks over there how are you finding it.

    • @FreddieDobbs
      @FreddieDobbs  ปีที่แล้ว

      I do agree- the huge amount of lanes means motorway driving isn’t the most relaxing because you’re always having to make sure you’re on the correct side of the motorway when they often split in half to the left or right😳
