Sounds like both Trajean and Tom were throwing shade at Monty Williams when they said whomever they hire as the HC must be aligned with the young core of players that we have. The game has changed so much so hopefully this is a step in the right direction. Enjoy your take on stuff.

I thought that having a "Mission Statement" for the organization to integrate all to be in sync is very important. I knew we were not going to hear anything other than generalities from this presser, as the specific items are currently being worked on.

I’m not excited. I’m not expecting championship success. After 37 years of being a die hard pistons fan. I’m checking out. This doesn’t feel like Bad Boys. This doesn’t feel like going to work pistons. This doesn’t feel like blue collar Pistons. This feeling more like corporate America Pistons. This feels like CEO board room meetings Pistons. White collar pistons.

Trajan was impressive alright. He was excellent at blowing smoke up everyone’s butts. The fact that he hinted at another lottery level projection is a downer for me.
I knew that Gores would be a horrible owner as soon as he hired Fat ManGundy. By the time Weaver got there the $$$ and draft picks were a mess. He was given 5 years to clean it up. He did it in 4 and got fired. M.Williams, in fairness, had a G League team for much of the season. Review that roster week by week and you'll see that Phil Jackson, or Pop couldn't win with it. A trillion dollars later and we have no coach. They should have left that crew alone for one more year, drafted the best shooter available and done the same with the cap space. Having "no timeline" just means that Langdon is going to bring in his friends and postpone winning. He has never won anything. Wait. Take a deep breath and go research it. He has NEVER won anything.
I like how he said he was going to hold everyone accountable. That is well needed in this organization.
