Has there ever been a minority who just walked into a pro level head coaching position with absolutely zero coaching experience?

I had been a Lakers fan for 35 years of my life. I really know this is a Lebron move. Honestly just let Lebron coach the team so he has to take the blame. We know this man throws 🪨 Rocks and hide his hands.🙌. I want to say this Byron Scott, Luke Walton, Michael Cooper, Magic Johnson at least loved the Lakers before they got a check from the Lakers. All four of them TODAY are more qualified to be the head coach of the Lakers. All of them can talk ball and sound professional cause they played at a high level, but each one of them got fired multiple times . How magic look coaching How did Byron Scott look coaching the Lakers, what did Luke look like? If we just hiring people who sound smart talking basketball well my ass should have gotten an interview. Not qualified let's make the person who caused this mess fix it really. Where are you at #23? Step up and step out. Cause you have destroyed my favorite team. I'm not restoring my fandom to the Lakers until 23 takes his ass back to Ohio!
Please bro Akron is really calling you.
Go buy the cavs !!! Brony can play with Donavan Mitchell!!
    From former Lakers fan!

There is so much nepotism and politics tied up in this team right now that to talk about anything else is kind of absurd. 15 minutes of yada yada as if there's any merit in this situation.

I just have one thought about all this. The NBA is an entertainment product. What could be more entertaining that watching the arguably greatest franchise in NBA history with a head coach that does not have the experience to be the head coach at your local small town high school? Get out your wieners and marshmallows and let's put the dumpster fire to some good use.

To compare Jj redrick experience with Dan Campbell is just silly. Both did play professionally but Dan has been coach in nfl for over a decade before he got his head coaching opportunity. Jj redick has never coached at any level.

JJ sucked off lebron on that god awful podcast where they talked about why Lebron did win every year. It was a platform for Lebron to give himself excuses for the L’s he refuses to take. That’s why he got the job. It’s an awful look and I hope the lakers lose every game
