Yep, I skipped the whole "stage" thing myself. Put a RS468 cam, Feuling HP cam plate & HP oil pump, Feuling lifters in my 107 M8 bagger. Tuned with DynaJet PV. Runs awesome for my riding style. Since have added S&S intake manifold and SE 5.5 injectors. Those oil lines are a royal pain. HD should've included all parts needed for a crate engine for that price!
Just subscribed, love the content, truth! What you said about corporate HD engineers was spot on, hilarious👍 I agree, i think the Evo was the best motor they made.
Very good video. I'm also not a fan of the M8. The twin cam is awesome! I also agree that the 131" screamin eagle motor is underpowered for what it is. Plenty of 110 and 117" twin cam builds can make comparable power with less size and less spark plugs and less oil lines and sound better to boot.
I’ll be moving to Arizona next year if you are still looking for a good mechanic 👨🔧. I shut down my shop and going to go back to mmi and get updated on the newer Harley Davidson bikes. Hit me up if you’re interested in talking

Interesting video. Enjoy Rocky Point. Pretty cool giving a shout out to the Buddy Stubbs Arizona Harley Davidson dealership, since I bought a couple Road Glides from them and get all my required service there.
I watched one Harley Davidson video where a guy bought the 131 and didn't upgrade his transmission and F -ed the stock transmission he had to take it back to the shop and buy a whole new trans with upgraded everything internally to handle the power. Anyone that buys a much bigger Harley engine make sure you upgrade your clutch and transmission. If not your asgood as stranded on the side of what ever high way you are on.
Pretty sad a HD 135 only makss 130hp/143tq. My S&S 124 twin cam makes pretty much that and I kept it a mild build. 135 M8 should be smoking that even if it isnt built.
Even though it’s off-road use only they are still regulated by EPA. That’s with their lame EPA, tune and they’re lame. EPA cam they can make power though.
@kruesioriginals yep throw a Powervison or a Thundermax on there with the right parts and you can easily get 160/160. Ive seen some crazy builds making 180+. Excited to see what yall do to it!

Then he looks at me and says, "So it's like a stage two then? Swear to God. Pretty hilarious. It's ok though, I just thought it was funny. Not everyone knows or cares about their mods.
