    What do you think of this longer format video? Is 19 mins too long? 😅

    Basically A 101 on making, finishing, and putting the finishing touch. The color overlays were awsome bro, way cool way to explain things clearer. Center finders, I got a can full of cut down nails, not saying nothing bad, use what you got is all lol. Did you sit down, look at it and go, "Damn, two more inches and the keyboard would of slid in" Just ribbin lol. Oh I'm going to have to stop watching your channel, wife's getting ticked with, BUT IT'S A COOL TOOL!! I NEED IT!!.
    Peace bro. Keep safe.
    My son complains about headaches. I tell him all the time, when you get out of bed, it's feet first!
    I just finished my income tax forms. Who says you can't get wounded by a blank?

      Cheers Dale! Really glad you liked it. Wasnt sure about making it such a long video. Using cut down nails is a great idea instead of centre finders! Always good to make use of what you already have 👍 Haha there is always something new we need. And it really is a NEED 😂
      Lmao 🤣

    You should see if you can find some braided cord the same magenta, then you can put it around the edge of the inside of the drawer to cover the cut edge...and stop it from potentially lifting.

    • @AverageJoesJoinery
      @AverageJoesJoinery  2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I came here for inspiration as I’m making something very similar but with a shelf instead of a draw… the only problem is, I’m actually going to stand my monitor on it 😂 can’t believe I just watched a 20 minute video on making a monitor stand and the monitor doesn’t even touch it. Great work though 🙌

    Seeing as you are in the midlands, can I ask where you get your wood

    • @AverageJoesJoinery
      @AverageJoesJoinery  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I get it from a variety of places. Your standard stuff I just get from B&Q because it’s convenient. When I need full sheets of plywood or MDF I’ll order from Selco or Arnold Laver for delivery. I get my hardwood from S L Hardwoods mainly but sometimes Arnold Laver and Exotic Hards UK Ltd. All delivered. Hope that helps mate 👍

      @@AverageJoesJoinery Thankyou, much appreciated. I have been using oak floorboards as they are stable for furniture , but now very expensive. I want to get some Baltic birch, and some smooth phenolic plywood to make some jigs. The Baltic bitch to make some herringbone patterns
