Nice work Ted. i really have to chuckle in that this is practically the same exact machine that I have except mine was sold by Harbor Freight under their Central Machinery brand. Grizzly also sells this same exact machine in their color and brand name. I remember the Rong Fu brand back in the 90's but haven't seen it since. Something my machine has that I've never seen anywhere else is that it has a quill feed which is great when boring a hole with a boeing head.
Hey Ted I’ve just done the same to my machine and as I was putting it back together I realised I couldn’t remember which way the Y axis leadscrew nut faced. I thought to myself oh it should face the column so that you can get to the adjusting screw, but when I checked the manual it said it should face the other way. Any thoughts?

It's time to extended the slot in the casting and you will get more Y travel.
