Stem cells understand geometry. How?

  • One of the recent hot topics in tissue engineering is utilizing the topographical features of biomaterials for controlling stem cell behaviors. The cell understands the geometry of the surface they attached to, and based on that, they change their fate and behavior. We still don't know the exact mechanisms which make this field interesting. This is one of the topics that I wanted to talk about for a long time. I hope you enjoy it.
