I’d live to order some NC, but freight costs for delivery to UT are relatively cost prohibitive.
I know you all really need to get things done and that impromptu visitors really throw a wrench in your day. After following you for years, we’ve all become accustomed to you and unfortunately, many folks look at you all as our friends when that isn’t the case. Everyone needs to respect the fact that you’re doing this channel for our benefit, and a little for you all too, but you need your privacy and people need to respect that. Thanks for what you do, we all love it.
Amen!
I don't know if anybody else caught that or not but poor old chet is evidently too young to remember the dosakis commercials from 25 years ago LOL
@MrHurricaneFloyd if you consider all the time 9t takes to film (by multiple people), edit, etc. I really don't consider it that much money (whatever they make). More power to them for any monies they receive from endorsements as well. Farming is expensive
@@MrHurricaneFloydwhat is your point?
@MrHurricaneFloyd Chet makes about 200k on social media. They also have considerable expenses as Chet had to hire an editor and someone to do their social media as it was to much for him to handle as Nicole did the editing and posting.
He is probably spending 85k forthis person.
So all and all they he is bringing in less money after expenses.
If you consider the time coming each episode and the fact he done this for over a decade he's not making much.
I usually don’t drink water but when I do, it’s Northern Chill! lol. Dougo made himself laugh.😂
I think Dougo maybe remembers the commercial from an old sunflower commercial for Sigco seeds. Years ago.
Horsetail is the name of that weed, very hard to kill. Can spray, brown it for a couple weeks, then it greens up again. Tillage seems to be the best killer
that was a pretty good commercial for northern chill Dougo
Absolutely
Hello Chet! Your mystery weed is called “Horsetail” (Equisetum Arvense) A very serious grower! Deep roots! Best of luck and keep up the great work👍🏼🤘🏻
Hope you had/know you had(mums). You have the best team working for you and Dougo. They don't just work for you, they work for their friends!!! That is why we love you too. There is no other channel on YT that has so many really loyal foan who care about all of you. From UK.
that plant is a called Mares tail or horse tail, its got a waxy coating on the leaves and its really hard to kill there used to be a chemcial in the uk called kurtail that would kill it but it also kills everything else on contact. Its a prehistoic plant that is considered an invasive species in the uk. Its real hard to kill because when you chop it up it all grows into new plants
I think mcpa kills it
Thanks, Chet. I always look forward to seeing Larson Farms videos and your mom's videos, too. Great family dynamics, and Dougo is always the star!
❤️🚜🇺🇸🤍🚜🇺🇸💙🚜🇺🇸
Chet as always keep the good videos coming! God bless all farmers 🙏🏻
Nice to see you wearing gloves chet when working with those chemicals. 👍
You guys got such a nice looking farm. You do a great job keeping it clean ,chet I enjoy watching you always have a smile on your face and your dad to
Dougo, *the most intresting Man in Farming.*
To go along with his Water line.
Hahaha.........good one.
😂😂
Yes, up there with "Real Men of Genius "
We miss your numbering of your videos. It helped know what video we have watched before re-viewing videos.
Thats Horsetail.. WE get it in landscape bed in wet areas
Awesome video Chet. It's always interesting to see what you fellers get yourselves into. 🚜🚜🚜
O K I Started watching uTube farming ops because 1, I farmed(dairy) in the 80's and 2, my son said Dad these are way better than tv. I did NOT start with Larson farms, couple dairies (my main interest) and Millennial farmer. Gotta say, Chet, and NOT a bromance, but I have navigated to mostly you and Dougo (Amy's) channel. Real and interesting and I really like your comrades, Eric and et. al.
I truly believe that Eric would give his life for anyone of you and everything he does is like it's his very own. ❤ take care of each other
Keep up the good work, Larson Farms! Looks great & keep it busy.
Love your Videos Guys! NHRA Nationals Next week in Brainerd! Come see some cars doing 332 mph! See me in the gun safe booth! 50 yards off starting line! :) Jeff the Safe guy from Brainerd
“Is your unit not big enough?”…….the initial look on the Swedes face….lmao😂
Man,that truck sounds great!
Chet Dougo Eric Broodie John Jordan that getting it done really great good explanations thank you for sharing and your time was great
I just love love love the dialogue about lining up your equipment. Back home in our day, my dad always had us line up trucks, tractors, wagons, and whatever else we could in lines but always on an angle.
Thanks for sharing Dougo, Chet , Eric, Brody, Jordan ! Very respectful of a fan to respect your alls time .
I never thought you all would ever get ahead of the ground water , what a mess but hey you all are used to overcoming obstacles, thats what makes all of you awesome, hope y'all had a great 4th of July 🇺🇲🧨🚜
Chet you guys do such a good job. It’s looking really good! 👍👍❤️
Always love these videos chet. Yall do an awesome job at entertaining us
14:24 its called mare's tail or horsetail. try a mix of mcpa broadleaf herbicide and glysophate mix to nuke it. Probably best to do this before/after the crop. All the best from Ireland ☘️
It's so awesome watching how you yall work as such as an incredible team!! The quality work yall do is so fun to watch! ❤️🤠🇺🇸
You guys just go, go, go... Love watching all the different things you do.
"Is your unit too small?" LOL! C'mon now Chet!!!
Thanks for another great video Chet and everyone. It was interesting and enjoyable to watch.
Your bin project is really looking great. All of you have put a lot of into this project and deserve a long weekend off. Enjoy.
Looks like your spraying is going well. With your new spray trailer and that Apache sprayer you are moving right along. Nice work.
About it I guess. Glad that new hitch on the dump trailer is finally working good.
You all take care and be safe.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
That feathery weed we know as Horsetail here in the UK. Very similar growing close to water is Marestail. Both deep rooted & very difficult to kill.
America thanks Chet you all stay safe and god bless
Bin project and driveway look good. Nice that you can do a lot of the prep work in house. Always build driveway bigger than your biggest piece of equipment.
You guys did a great job and the whole project look like it was done by a Professional Contractor who does this for a living ! stay safe ( from Canada )
Thanks 👍
Pre round-up herbicides were a real challenge! Now, new challenges as pressures adapt! Nice job on the pad!!!
Great video guys..Thank you so much
always appreciate your content, progress
As much as you got done it’s being to look real nice . Can’t wait to see the whole thing done.Happy 4 of July enjoy your week off.
Great work guys I understand the video is behind so hope you all had a great 4th July even though we don't do that in Australia but I celebrated with you and Chet boys n Dougo your all top notch 😀 awesome channel
Hey Chet, I thought maybe you would build a shed to store equipment, but that doesn't pay the bills like having storage to get the good grain prices , thanks for the great videos!!
Simply amazing with all you do, thanks Chet
You're doing the road build right - should last a long time and serve well.
I love watching professionals at work, it's very satisfying. I spent 10 years in the Navy on submarines and everybody wanted to see the submarine so I get where you are coming
from when it comes to unwanted visitors. We had to get them tours when it was safe because they wanted to see where their tax dollars were going. That is different with a
private farm or company time is money and you don't need the extra hassle or insurance problems. I wouldn't want people getting in my way either. I enjoy your video's and learned
a lot from them and understand when you guys have to deal with the struggle bus, it makes me appreciate the job you guys do even more and frankly I am surprised that I don't hear
a lot of cuss words which we did a fair amount of in the Navy. Keep up the great work and stay safe. I salute you all. You would make great submariners.
wow $3.30 cent corn aint gonna pay the bills is it! good thing you boys got utube! good luck boys!
We all love to watching your channel. As for pulling up in your work place/farm/ home, absolutely a no go zone. Ex farm girl with no brother’s, who had to work as a bloke, at the end of the day you can take the girl out of the farm, but you can’t take the farm out of the girl. Please keep the camera rolling. 😊
Thanks for the update.
Very interesting
Quite the project.
Man that Cat in the truck sounds righteous!
18 days behind, keep the video's coming!
Great upload! Thanks!
Love the show. Impressive equipment..
Coming Along Nicely Boys 🤘🏻🇺🇸
You guys would be money ahead to truck in Limestone Gravel for your driveway, parking areas, etc.
Damn that truck sounds good.
That funny looking weed is Equisetum. Primitive weed, not grass or a broadleaf. Have had luck killing it off with EnlistOne.
Field Horsetail…. We have lots of it in Northern Alberta
Longer videos pretty please plus love seeing the excavator and dozer working. Would have enjoyed seeing the bin pad buildup being completed. But enough complaining you’re still my favorite tube channel!! Thanks for entertaining us!!
Great stuff guys
Happy Independence day to you all....🎉
Chet you should talk to Zach about those guys who done spraying with Dron's. That would be the answer to spraying your fields when they are wet.
Hello from mid Michigan all you guys are awesome
Another great video.
Looking good!!
We have that weed in the UK 🇬🇧 it was used on the railways to stop the banks sliding
That weed you said was some sort of swamp week approx 14 mins, 20 seconds in looks like what we in the UK call devils finger, it's very, very invasive..glyphosate is the only thing I know that kills it
LOVE WATCHING ALL YOUR VIDEOS, WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE OF ERIC, BRODY, AND JORDAN
Im surprised by another bin build, I really thought a dry fertalizer storage or commodity shed was on the horizon
Bending the cap on the jugs works a great tool aswell for the foil.
Have a great 4th
Another good video...I mean commercial ,Doug
Thanks for sharing another great video.
Horsetail is what we call it(leafless). Usually shows up with too much rain.
Don’t get the “stalkers”…that’s plain odd. Neither I nor my best buds ever show up unannounced. Don’t even call without texting to make sure not busy. I reckon only folks who are trying to get stuff done understand. I’m sure these folks don’t mean anything bad, but get a grip folks.
The pad and drive looks great….fun to watch the progress.
Awesome job
Grass around the inlets might not be a bad thing to keep debris out of the tile
Thanks 👍
Doug with the shameless plug . Great video as always !
yes
Chet, You should put the hammer on the dash trailer so it all matches 👍
Who the hell asks Eric if "he unit is not big enough?" ONLY Chet!
Great to see almost everyone! I’m not a farmer but my dad was the first in his family to get a job off the farm. We have 15 acres that we do a much lower scale of what you do. Having your own heavy equipment is almost fun. I did a 5 acre pond with a 4400, that’s where ingenuity anda welder come in handy. I absolutely love your content because it’s like watching ourselves- I’m Brody but Douggo’s age!, Brett is Chet , we need a big Swede
Enjoyed the video
The fern -like weed in your lowspots are field horstail - Roundup will not kill it
That 'Christmas tree' could be Field Horsetail (Latin: Equisetum arvense L.); get rid of them. RoundUp can't do it. Use other mode of action and/or tillage.
Like I commented on Welkers 377 reveal “ if it ain’t Smokin it’s Broken “
Hello Chet, the plant you don't know is horsetail (Equisetum arvense) which is difficult to destroy and causes problems in drainage (very hard rhizomes which get into the pipes and risk of blockages. Often present in compacted soils. Have a nice day.
I’ve seen your Mom’s 4th of July video. I know you all had a nice break
They are not Training Wheels! 😊thy are simply ground strike prevention wheels. The booms will flex, and you need a buffer for the booms.
Gee thanks we would’ve never figured that out without you.. 😂
Hello from Forest Lake Mn
Love it
That little pointed thing in the inducter is for poking the top of the containers
It's for puncturing the bottom of the jug to empty it without opening the top.
@@lynwessel2471 u got the point lol
chet if you get brody a yellow hard when hes in dozer he would look like a little lego man
Dougo gonna start doing all the "info-mercials" from now on.....AS SEEN ON Larson TV
That weird weed looks like field horsetail, easy to kill in wheat with mcpa but in beans and corn it’s harder to kill !
the weed you didn't know what was is called horsetail we have a lot of it up here in Canada we can kill it with enlist
That impossible stuff to kill is horse tail shavegrass. Liberty and roundup kills it
Roundup won't kill anything here anymore. The weeds have built up a resistance.
@@myronparks3495 Thanks to St*pid Farmers using Roundup all the time every year ! Idi*ts
That weed you can’t kill looks like horsetail. We can’t kill it either in Saskatchewan. Thrives in low ph wet areas.
Hello from Illinois! 👋😁
