Hi Eric! Hahaha, yes, we went to Catbalogan to do the Lagun Gobingob Cave expedition. But so glad that it took us there, otherwise we would probably never have gone to Catbalogan. Such friendly people and you can really experience the local life as it’s not touristy at all! We did leave not to long after though as we found it quite hard to find accommodation in Samar, especially by the beach. Still want to check out Siargao next time!!

I'm surprised you guys went to Catbalogan. Usually the favorite place of digital nomads here is Siargao island but Samar has a lot of hidden gems too.
