    I would really like to see more videos on 1989 Harley Davidson Softtail because most videos are all newer bikes and some of us still have older rides so if you do decide to make more about the older bikes it would be much appreciated THANKS MUCH PAUL

    Hey man,good vid. Teflon tape the screws. I take my caps off 1st. Did you use 20/ 50 or strait 30? I have my 89 heritage. I had to replace my motor cases because of a bad harley design. Did you do yours yet?

      It was whatever the manual recommended. I want to say 20 or 30w. I haven’t had to do my cases yet.

      @@bikerboot888 I changed my fluid with 20 weight and it blows by the seal. I'm gonna use conventional 20/50 and see if it stiffens it up.

      Yes and no. It made the ride better, but I need to rebuild the forks. The lowering kit from the previous owner was a complete butcher job. I also blew a fork seal. Winter project though.😎
