no they are all still standard bolts in the new hds. except the brakes because they are made in italy.

I put 15.000 miles on that seat from Amazon on my 2022 Road Glide after trying many others. Amazing, better than more expensive seats I've tried.

GOOD video, it was precise and to the point. I recently purchased a beautiful '97 FXSTC Softail Custom that looks brand new, and it is COMPLETELY CUSTOM (including the custom-built ASVE-Tripoli frame). It has the EVO 1340 in it with only 5,800 miles on it since it was built. EVERYTHING was ordered NEW from a Harley Davidson dealer in '97 including the frame. I wish more people would post a lot more videos on the maintenance and repairing the EVO engines. I watch every Softail/EVO video I come across. Thank you again and I will be watching for your videos.

The problem with this seat is it angles up too fast and crunches your nuts. I had a mustang touring seat that was crazy comfortable and bought one of these cause it was cheap and you definitely get what you pay for

I am not clear on how the bracket allows up and down adjustment. . It sounds like your ratcheting that seat bar up and down. How does it lock in place?

All the way out the ass end of the bikes going to be sticking up in the air like a skunk and ride as hard as a rock it's going to BIND UP.

I have a similar one. My wife has a Harley brand one on her bike and while it is much better, you get the backrest and bracket for half the cost of just the bracket from Harley. Hers has an adjustment cable that you can adjust with the seat on though. I like the bag on the back. I run my heated gear wires from the battery up through the seat hole and store them inside the bag when not in use.

I just got the same mustang seat. Which will be my main touring and 2 up seat. Came from an Italian AS design diamond seat which I will still keep for run around summer riding. How does this backrest match up with the mustang now that you have had it a while? Does the detent cause issues? And fender rubbing or dislikes? Hard to justify 350 for mustang one.

Bro, ya gotta get a charge meter on the ride my Man, because mine showed 14.2 at idle but under the wide open wick, it was 17.9, boiled my battery

Thanks for the reply. I put it on the tender when I know I’m not gonna ride it for a few days. Other than that I usually ride it 3 to 4 days a week to work and back. I have not put anything new on the bike in a while. so yeah, I’ve got a lot of bills and whistles but nothing new. About six months ago the battery died, and when I would jumpstart it, the bike would immediately die when I disconnected the cables. That’s when I replaced the battery. To my surprise yesterday went out to find a dead bike. Jumpstarted it disconnected the jumper cables, and it immediately shut off. Jumped it again. Kept the cables connected for about 5 to 8 minutes Then disconnected and rode it up into my porch where I park it usually. Left it on the tender overnight and just went to start it and it turned over then went to clicking like a dead battery again. 🤷‍♂️
