I’ve seen this video 10-12 times just because zany’s personality is delightful. This stands apart from the other 100 days videos because it’s clearly genuine, and even if it conveys frustration or disappointment, he makes it fun in hindsight (for us at least). It’s not your art that keeps me here. The whole Boss Ross thing is funny and all, don’t get me wrong, but I love seeing the other side of Zany. Watching someone… well, in essence complain about an Ark map breaking for 30ish minutes of the video wouldn’t be entertaining for anyone else. But Zany manages to balance it with being reasonable, and proves that he stuck it out regardless of how much he hated it. That was for us, he probably wouldn’t have done that were it not for the people pressuring him to suffer through it, not to mention the time it took to edit the footage, find music for every different situation (including you splicing two Aberration soundtrack pieces together at the end, nice touch! I legit didn’t realize those were two different tracks at first). If extinction never comes out, that’s honestly understandable. He lost 1/4 of the footage, which is an enormous amount of time. I’ve noticed he’s disappeared from most social media since that happened. TH-cam comments are not here anymore, I’ve seen him on Discord once since it happened. School probably started, but also I dunno if you feel bad, but I hope people understand the effort that goes into a video like this. Take care of yourself first, we don’t need the video if it’s too much mental strain. I honestly care more that you’re ok over a video, no matter how epic it is. Wherever you are Zany, best wishes!

This man publishes a single video that is a blast to watch instead of many videos that are boring to watch. Unlike most hardcore series this guy decides to publish once a month just to work hard on one episode. He edits well, he narrates well, he cuts out boring parts, his choice of music is fitting, and he plays one of the hardest survival games out there and beats it in hardcore. He’s just an extremely entertaining youtuber such a shame he has low subs.

I mean, the whole stuff not rendering when I change graphic settings yeah, but a relog fixed it, unless I moved it again. Never had them keep randomly changing in the background while I was playing.
Personally I thought the scorched-earth video was more fun to watch this video it's just fun to watch because of how he realizes how terrible Ark runs on the Xbox version

So about using console commands or other cheats. It's COMPLETELY FINE to use them when the game fucks up on a engine level. That is the fault of the game, and you need to use the game's systems to un-fuck it. I do it quite often in skyrim when I get stuck on things or the like, it's not a big deal. this ARK is one of the most beautiful maps in any video game, and i’m glad that i got to experience it through this masterpiece. also, keep making paintings, they look so good!
Ark is like that, been playing since 2017 I believe, but the game is so buggy it’s just bad, I think they should fix the bugs instead of making new maps and such.

@@greenade6100 No, if you use just "walk" there is a high chance that you will just fall like he did in the vid. The "walk" command is to deactivate "fly". Edit: unless they fixed that, haven't played ARK in a long time so I wouldn't know.

The reason it was crashing alot is because he was using the Microsoft version. Other versions work fine and wildcard don't have time to fix the maps for ask because they are working on the new lost world map and ark 2.
The game has been out since 2015 and they still didn't fix fundamental flaws. This dlc map has also been out for 4 years, you'd think they would put in the effort but no. It's not a secret that the devs don't care because on official servers they don't do anything against people who use aimbot or meshing and you can only really play on unofficial.

Man, I keep finding myself rewatching your videos. I enjoy your humor, and you are just really entertaining to watch. It's fun to watch you paint in the game. Watching you prep for bosses helps give me an idea of how to prepare myself for when I eventually have to fight them. And can I just say the final ascension scene is just so awesome. 52:52 This SAME THING happened to me last year! (Steam version, cluster server) Turns out, using climbing picks on structures has a chance to just *teleport* you to the red zone! You're luckier than I, though, I got killed instantly and lost my ascendant climbing picks, along with a number of other items!
I don’t think that’s the cause of it I was on valguero using my dunonics (or however you spell there names) I climbed a wall with it and then I was teleported to the opposite side of the green zone (I was in the underground abaration zone when this happened) i didn’t die but I was so confused!

Zany, you made my night an OVERWHELMING one. At the end when the finale cutscene started... I did not expect if at all. I was watching in full screen. It caught me so off guard that I felt like I was flying through the universe... It gave me more chills and goosebumps than ANYTHING in my life. Even the "Proof Of A Hero" theme. Ark wouldn't be ark without the insurmountable amount of bugs that range from harmlessly funny to absolutely disastrous.
So about using console commands or other cheats. It's COMPLETELY FINE to use them when the game fucks up on a engine level. That is the fault of the game, and you need to use the game's systems to un-fuck it. I do it quite often in skyrim when I get stuck on things or the like, it's not a big deal. Ark is like that, been playing since 2017 I believe, but the game is so buggy it’s just bad, I think they should fix the bugs instead of making new maps and such.

@@cutepuppygamer0815 Rag is a great map. Its just good in every way. The only reason i like playing valguero over rag is the abberation zone. Its the only place you can get abberant creatures without trading or buying any dlc. Its also visually gorgeous

Not if you ride a dino while ghost is activated. Have to teleport with beds to fix it then.

The reason it was crashing alot is because he was using the Microsoft version. Other versions work fine and wildcard don't have time to fix the maps for ask because they are working on the new lost world map and ark 2.
The game has been out since 2015 and they still didn't fix fundamental flaws. This dlc map has also been out for 4 years, you'd think they would put in the effort but no. It's not a secret that the devs don't care because on official servers they don't do anything against people who use aimbot or meshing and you can only really play on unofficial.

Man, I keep finding myself rewatching your videos. I enjoy your humor, and you are just really entertaining to watch. It's fun to watch you paint in the game. Watching you prep for bosses helps give me an idea of how to prepare myself for when I eventually have to fight them. And can I just say the final ascension scene is just so awesome. 52:52 This SAME THING happened to me last year! (Steam version, cluster server) Turns out, using climbing picks on structures has a chance to just *teleport* you to the red zone! You're luckier than I, though, I got killed instantly and lost my ascendant climbing picks, along with a number of other items!

I lost so much to that glitch and I cried days so I played scorched instead and got wiped by a rock golom
I don’t think that’s the cause of it I was on valguero using my dunonics (or however you spell there names) I climbed a wall with it and then I was teleported to the opposite side of the green zone (I was in the underground abaration zone when this happened) i didn’t die but I was so confused!

Zany, you made my night an OVERWHELMING one. At the end when the finale cutscene started... I did not expect if at all. I was watching in full screen. It caught me so off guard that I felt like I was flying through the universe... It gave me more chills and goosebumps than ANYTHING in my life. Even the "Proof Of A Hero" theme.
