'dreamers and schemers all..' Was there at Wembley....was brilliant. We fucked off when Bowie started, bumped into Boz post gig in the walkway behind the seats. Was a sad scenario watching him support, with such great songs that were getting zero exposure. Anyway, 27 years later I'm still loyal and going to gigs. Because we must.
Lyrics Nine times fined Never mind Things can only improve We are just stood here Waiting for the next great wound And we just can't wait to make more mistakes And to fluff our breaks, and to stuff our faces with cake All in all, imagine this : Nobody loves us Dab-hands at trouble With four days of stubble, we are Never loosen the grip on our hand Call us home Kiss our cheeks Nobody loves us So we...oh...we tend to please ourselves People think all we do Is lie around and think of how Rich we'd be if we didn't think Life could improve And we just can't wait to make more mistakes And we just can't wait till the whole thing blows up in our face Call us home Kiss our cheeks Nobody loves us Dab-hands at Trouble With four days of stubble, we are So, never loosen the grip on our hand Call us home Make our tea Nobody loves us So we...oh...we tend to please ourselves Call us home Tuck us in Nobody wants us Dreamers and schemers All pie-eyed, and bog-eyed, and cross-eyed Oh, never loosen the grip on our hand Whack us, then Hug us hard Nobody loves us So we...oh...we tend to please ourselves And we just can't stress, oh, how more the mess And complete distress won't make much difference to us Sing us our Favorite song Nobody loves us Born-again atheists Practicing troublemakers Make us our Favorite jam Nobody loves us Useless and shiftless And jobless But we're all yours
I love discernment and what I discern from Your AWESOME song is that, as You sing, "Nobody loves us" ~and I know For A FACT that I have nobody who loves or eVen cares for Me in the witchy town that I AM that I AM living in~ is that I can "tend to please Myself" in the shower tonight because, after All'ah, I AM The One, Queen Jacqui Carol Yah Ha Ha Himashiac Who, who Loves Yah eVen MORR My Insatiable One.
Mind Blown. I never heard this song live, the sound of Morrisseys voice so potent, and the guitar on key. I do believe this version is slightly different then the lyric of the studio version because it's earlier version (On one small Part).
I missed the Your Arsenal Tour and thought Morrissey would have a full USA tour for Vauxhall & I(MTV Buzz Clip for TMYIMTCIG)...then Southpaw Grammar...then World of Morrissey...nope. Waited 5 years for the Maladjusted Tour(sigh)...went to 4 concerts-Kalamazoo, Ann Arbor, Chicago & Buffalo(countless more/cancelled shows since)...was able to get his autograph on Maladjusted album. Both Nobody Loves Us & You Must Please Remember should have been on the main album...typical Morrissey leaving INCREDIBLE songs for B-Sides.
i do agree to a certain extent i remember hearing ganglord live for the first time it was amazing.but the guys the best lyricist there's been for ages he is a genius.make our tea.nobody loves us!it could only be one man!
@timmythepierate - totally agreed... I perfermed a tribute night in Miami, and i made sure we played this song- the crowd responce was like: wow... noone ever plays this tune!! long live The Moz
soundboard audio recording ? is the sound ripped off from the BBC broadcasting ot fhe show ? because I never heard a bootleg video with a sound so pristine. Morissey & the band played so tight in 1995 on that tour , all focused on the music. Intensity. The version of Sunny they did on TV show Later with Jools Holland to promote the tour, is pure gold
@@ianparker3014 don't get me wrong, his music is great, but when you hear a solo Alain intro, you expect to hear Morrissey's voice and lyrics and it's a bit disappointing when it's Alain, not Moz :(
Can someone get me some chords on this song? I have been trying for a while it is tough. I have F# B A and a C# somewhere. Help me out. This is my favorite Morrissey song! Never loosen the grip!
This wasn’t played until The Southpaw Grammar tour in Fall 1995 and then sporadically during the Maladjusted tour in 1997. Then dropped and has never returned in 25+ years. Introducing Morrissey is from the Boxers Tour in Early 1995.
@stanleymchale1977 This and Edges are no longer....... should have both been on the album. He's lost the knack of tracklisting perfect albums which is such a shame.
One of his best songs ever and it’s a shame that he’s practically disowned it in favor of the uninspired new material he’s released in the last 15 years…
Morrissey is a like a fine wine, gets better the older it gets!!!!!!!!!!
'dreamers and schemers all..'

Because we must.
Maybe his best song. Nothing can beat this tune
Morrissey apparently doesn’t care for it. He prefers drivel these days
Lyrics
Nine times fined
Never mind
Things can only improve
We are just stood here
Waiting for the next great wound
And we just can't wait to make more mistakes
And to fluff our breaks, and to stuff our faces with cake
All in all, imagine this :
Nobody loves us
Dab-hands at trouble
With four days of stubble, we are
Never loosen the grip on our hand
Call us home
Kiss our cheeks
Nobody loves us
So we...oh...we tend to please ourselves
People think all we do
Is lie around and think of how
Rich we'd be if we didn't think
Life could improve
And we just can't wait to make more mistakes
And we just can't wait till the whole thing blows up in our face
Call us home
Kiss our cheeks
Nobody loves us
Dab-hands at Trouble
With four days of stubble, we are
So, never loosen the grip on our hand
Call us home
Make our tea
Nobody loves us
So we...oh...we tend to please ourselves
Call us home
Tuck us in
Nobody wants us
Dreamers and schemers
All pie-eyed, and bog-eyed, and cross-eyed
Oh, never loosen the grip on our hand
Whack us, then
Hug us hard
Nobody loves us
So we...oh...we tend to please ourselves
And we just can't stress, oh, how more the mess
And complete distress won't make much difference to us
Sing us our
Favorite song
Nobody loves us
Born-again atheists
Practicing troublemakers
Make us our
Favorite jam
Nobody loves us
Useless and shiftless
And jobless
But we're all yours
this is one of the best! This song represents a lot of my life when i was a young... I miss Moz of those times!

Can't wait to receiver the reissue of Southpaw, I believe this song is included.
Nobody Loves Me :(
Just sublime … god on earth ❤❤❤
damn i miss alain whyte.
Abrahán Garza don't worry he's churning out solo stuff, never heard it? No nobody else either.
@@ianparker3014 don't get me wrong, his music is great, but when you hear a solo Alain intro, you expect to hear Morrissey's voice and lyrics and it's a bit disappointing when it's Alain, not Moz :(
He’s back 👍🏻👍🏻
Alain, Boz, Spencer, and Jonny Bridgwood….
Brilliant song. I wonder who has the original tape of this (i.e the bloke who filmed it).
@tomk773 , probably like me it speaks volumes about childhood, .
Can someone get me some chords on this song? I have been trying for a while it is tough. I have F# B A and a C# somewhere.
Help me out. This is my favorite Morrissey song! Never loosen the grip!
B-sides are often recorded afterwards.
Introducting Morrissey live 1995

Where did they performed this? This sounds so beautiful.
Can someone stick up the studio version of this song please. TIA
Any chance of putting the single version from My Early Burglary Years up?
WE JUST CANT WAIT TO MAKE MORE MISTAKES...
@stanleymchale1977 This and Edges are no longer....... should have both been on the album. He's lost the knack of tracklisting perfect albums which is such a shame.
@JanineRobin Awesome comment.
I have made a terrible mess of My life trying to get into your Grace's co😮mpany & I do not eVen, have Your Grace
One of his best songs ever and it’s a shame that he’s practically disowned it in favor of the uninspired new material he’s released in the last 15 years…
