I lost my father to an aggressive bladder cancer 2 years ago, and seeing this story with such a young person being diagnosed with terminal cancer is heartbreaking. My Dad fought it with everything he had and would have got more time had this evil government not delayed his treatment due to COVID. I know so many other people who lost loved ones in the same circumstances and I’ll never forgive this morally corrupt Tory government for it.

@@nickxcore74 sorry to hear about ur loss. My best friend passed away in the first few months of lockdown she couldn’t get her treatment either due to COVID and lockdown issues in the hospital she caught COVID then having been in hospital after a fall. She had cancer and it spread sadly but wasn’t able to have her treatment cos of COVID issues
My Dad died of the same tumour that Lola has. Thank you Eastenders for raising awareness of this horrific cancer- you are doing an amazing job.

The way Ben kisses Jay’s shoulder at the end🥺🥺 that’s his brother that’s hurting. Sure Ben is sad about Lola and he loves her too but Jay is his brother and when Lola dies it’s gonna destroy them, especially Jay. Ben knows he needs to be there for him like all the times Jay was there for him. This story is gonna be so heartbreaking but the cast involved are outstanding, truly phenomenal with it so far👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Cancer can strike any age sadly- my friend Alex (then aged 26) had testicle cancer in 2021 luckily he managed to fight it off eventually but it was a long hard stressful time doing so.. unfortunately some people aren’t so lucky😢
It’s gonna be absolutely devastating watching Lola die 💔 There’s no doubt the viewers will be in tears and it’ll have a huge affect in Albert Square. Jay not only lost his first love Abi, but he’s not going to lose the love of his life. But I also think this is what Jay’s character needs. I don’t mean Lola dying, but he needs to be on screen more and have more recognition. For the last few years, Jay has just been lingering in the background and we’ve seen him here and there… but the actual character hasn’t had any big storylines for years or emotional scenes. I know Danielle Harold and Jamie Borthwick will do a phenomenal job on this and as much as it will be truly upsetting, I can’t wait to see how Lola’s last scene will be…. Wherever they are, I really hope in the episode we see some flashback memory scenes of Jay and Lola from back in the day 🥰

Tbh I havent watched Eastenders in ages but i do rememember wen Lola came into it , i think shes a Brilliant actress , very natural , and in Playin this Sensitive n Sad 😢storyline very well , made me very Emotional to watch . 😢 i like her alot and so sad that she's goin thru this and will be sad😢 we n she passes , i feel for her daughter , also that she havin to tell her that she fine and comin home wen really she knows the truth and of course she say that , but we want to protect out children . Lexi and Jay will be hearbroken💔and lost without Lola, also Billy😔 i feel it will affect these 3 the most 😢

She’s is a good actress, no doubt. However storylines have to be created and characters have to exit, albeit under sorrowful circumstances still dramatic departures have to occur in order for the show to have substance and interest for viewers. Imo taking if Ronnie and Roxy was EE biggest failure to date. They were huge characters although Lola is a good actress she wasn’t one of the forefront characters like Jamie Mitchell, Tiffany, ect were. Also the way kush left was also a big mistake

My partner has just lost his auntie from cancer 8 weeks ago she found out it was in her liver and lungs then the following week she found out it had spread to her bones, lymph nodes and gland above ger kidney then died 3 and a half weeks later and also my grandad has got lung cancer which is spreading to his throat. It is a horrible disease and it's not nice seeing someone you love going through it
