- The Seahawks came back and beat the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football but, one thing stood out to Former Seahawks linebacker K.J. Wright. Where was Seahawks S Jamal Adams? Should he have been on the sideline with his team? He joined The Brock & Salk Show to explain the if it's an issue for the defense going forward.

Was really hoping to see a more humble mature Jamal this year. I dont mind competitiveness, but the ego has got to go. Dude has been a disappointment on every level. Cant even get benched right, dude went all the way to the couch.

Mike Jackson should be out there all the time, he played great! Same for Julian Love, how can you argue with that performance. Jamal needs to be only on blitz packages or run stuffs. Also Artie Burns played good too.

KJ nailed it, certain packages....even give bobby a breather and keep love in and adams at LB
He was actually making progress in coverage in the 2021 season. Unfortunate that he had those two season ending injuries in between and so much of our defense changed over. I think the smart thing to do, if they keep him, is to convert him to linebacker.
Keep Love on the field. He can cover better, catch the ball and he can track the ball.
We're all falling in Love with Julian at this point (and how can you not), so I do hope that mentally Jamal lands on his feet because i care for him as a human, but other than that I'd prefer just to not have to hear about him anymore.

KJ is a class act, this is a great podcast, Jamal Adams also insulted a sportswriter a couple of weeks ago, has has to grow up!

Sometimes, I feel like Jamal is all about the swag. He wants to look good playing with his "hair on fire" but not always willing to be vulnerable and risk being trucked. This is why I think he always shoulder tackles or "conveniently" overruns plays.
Don’t waste a guy you’re paying but…. Till the end of the season he should play 1st, 2nd down only and mainly rush/press on the line. Can’t cover anymore. Cut at the end of the season

Graham. For the fact that trading away max unger destroyed our line for years and is a huge reason making the Super Bowl again didn’t pan out. As far as draft capital alone then Adams.
Adams and in no way is it close. The Graham trade wasn't even that bad. Sure, I don't think it was the right move for the team, but Graham showed up, and outside of the injury, he came back and put up great numbers.

I remember when Marshawn opted out of playing Minnesota in the playoffs AND opted to stay at home rather than fly with the team...granted it was like -10000 degrees that day, but yeah...this happens, its not just a Jamal thing
That was a playoff game in 2016 when Marshawn was injured. Plus he gets a pass after the Seahawks didn’t give him the ball to run 1 yard into the end zone on Super Bowl 49.
@@DCuerpoJr To be clear, I give both of them a pass, they've both been through a lot respectively, I think Jamal's main problem is how the Seahawks deploy him where he's weak and not use him where he excels, kinda like how we signed Graham and used him as a blocking TE for some stupid reason nobody but Pete Carol can fathom, for all Pete's genius, he does some weird stuff like that

Jamal really ought to be a linebacker. He can probably be okay at catching guys coming from the backfield, take some pressure off Bobby. When Jamal is healthy, he's one of the best pass rushers and tacklers in the game. He's a valuable asset, but he needs to be in the right spot to succeed.

I think this might be nearing the end of his time in town if you consistently cant get on the field no matter who you are and how much your contract is & your Presence alone might even be hampering bringing the team down. I am not saying it is I don't know but it could be otherwise why would they not have him at the game on the sidelines really? That to me says a Ton about his future in town. He might be gone in a few months time.

The Jamal Adams trade and contract was the worst move Pete and John have ever made. Two first round picks, a 3rd, and a starter, then made him the highest paid SS in League. Never mind the passing on Budda Baker and drafting Malik McDowell, or drafting Penny instead of Nick Chubb, or LJ Collier, or Dee Eskridge, or Brooks over Queen...this was the worst.
I think it’s more that he’s demotivated. He keep getting hurt every year. Who wouldn’t be demotivated after getting hurt 3 years in a row? I know I would be frustrated with myself if I knew someone traded multiple first round picks for me, paid me and I kept getting hurt not being able to play.
He’s talented but the EGO is what keeps his talent from being unleashed.

Adams is a bad seed . Adams has been hurt most of his time with the Seahawks and when he played he really hasn't made an impact . I have had shoulder surgery and I know for a fact that Adams can't tackle at 100 percent . It took 2 years for my shoulder to heal and it will never be as strong or would be able to take an impact from a tackle in the NFL . EVER . I still have shoulder pain after 4 years .
