WoW, Nick, your mom and friends were really great about your news!!! I am so happy for you!!! Sad that you felt you needed to be high to tell them, but.... Great story, I have gotten a lot out of your story!!!
Great reactions from friends and mother! I lost all my friends and my mother wrinkled her nose and said where did you learn that! So quite different. My dad was already dead and we weren’t that close, but I think yeah it would have been extremely difficult to tell him!
One of my young lads popped into my office and asked to speak to me in private about your #3 video! We smudged which is our Lakota cleansing prayer and just sat together in our way in silence! When he started to speak, everything came up and out in a whoosh! I am so relieved that he identified with your story! Young Cree man and has been fighting addiction for the last 3 yrs! In our culture our gay folks are considered 2 Spirited and it’s perfectly normal and natur al! The Dominant society needs to grow up and accept that 2- spirited folks have been around since the dawn of time! This young person was raised in the city and his parents have left their Traditional way, and embraced another religion (Not here to judge and that’s ok) that does not condemn homosexuality outwardly but J feels that he huge disappointment and is very afraid but very relieved! We Lakota have a very Sacred healing ceremony followed by living in camp for 90 days commencing May 7! We have Elders, Lakota health workers and a Navajo Psychologist on staff! Thank you so much and J sends a big hug 🤗 Take care of you son and do not ever forget that Creator loves you ✨💜✨☀️✨🦅✨
Your so blessed, I to have struggled from addiction from an early year and then to older on heroine and opiates . I've died 3 times. Until I met my husband 25years ago. I as days before he passed with covid September 3rd, 21. He was my soulmate sent from God. I did relapses in October and went to the hospital because I was really trying to od, and be with him. I finally got my shit together after being arrested for simple procession... thank woke my ass up, and he would have been so disappointed in my action. Thank you for sharing pray for me Nick as your in my prayer for sober living. Love you both, in Christ Greg from TN
My first real bf was deeply closeted. I was 22 when we met, 23 when we moved in together. We met on Myspace lmao He didnt live far, he was in Tampa I was near Tampa, so we were able to see each other almost daily. He was on his own, educated, older than me 😉, he was at the time what I thought I wanted in a man. I put up with being a "secret" the entire time. I put up with never meeting his friends. Almost 2 years. Then we were getting ready to go out one weekend, im sitting tying my shoes and he says I cant go bcuz people from his job will be there. I was heartbroken. Like crushed. We argued and he went out and had a great time. It was the last straw. I found a condo, called college hunks moving junk to move all my stuff and moved out within a week. Never told him a thing until the movers came and I was gone the same day, I texted him I was out. Mailed back his keys and money for my part of the bills. I thought I would be heartbroken but I was actually relieved. Im 6'5 so keeping me a secret doesnt really work lmao We texted a few times and then just stopped. I didnt see him again until 7 or 8 years later.
This is what religion does to you. I come from a Southern Baptist-related religion as well. I came out to my parents in the 80's and they ignored the fact I was gay. They did not ignore me, though as a person. But they had stopped asking me when I will get married. I don't know of any religion that accepts same-sex love. Because all their doctrines were written from the same era of Jesus Christ, Mohammed, Hinduism, Shintoism, Buddhism. The whole world have been brain washed by believing that only man/woman should be the norm. If only the Greeks and Romans and even the Atlantean and Lemurian civilization had preserved their same-sex tolerance in written documents, maybe modern religion would not be so decriminalizing. I can't wait for the near future when the Aliens like Pledieans and other ET races will show us that same sex love is normal because that's how they live and that's how Creation and The One made us to be.
Huh? Actually that's not true, Hinduism, Shintoism and Buddhism very much accepts homosexuality and they aren't even much of a religion, its mainly abrahamic religions like Judaism, Christianity and Islam that have never accepted same sex relations although some have reformed and have accepted it more now then before.
@@AuthenNick awesome! Sounds just like videos I want to watch. Always interested in health & fitness. I have wanted to meal prep for along time now, but it seems overwhelming and lots of work. Lol

Wow!!!!! Your life story sounds like mine except for mine was alcohol! Same scenario but at the age of 52 I'm still struggling with it ! Thank you for for your story and hopefully we can talk more about it!
Halfway through this part, I stopped watching. Another story about a young American who messed up. Conforming to modern standards and a bit polished. The setting is of course in a crackpot religious environment. About a young man, told by a young man.
